I got both my 780 Ti Classifieds for free. Beat that sucka
I'll buy them off of you for the same price you paid.
Ill give you double of nothing. Beat that.
780Ti suffering?? Bring it to me!!!! My 290 is waiting!!!!!
This will be EPIC!!! :] looks so damn good. But WatchDogs looks just as good.
You smoking something?
Looks like a 5 year old game!
Considering the overzealous AA, those seem like pretty decent rates.
okay okaay ! I lose !
Money attracts money, I guess... Good for you though.
If only it was a good sci-fi title, now almost all games are near middle age, or beginning of 20th century cheap sci-fi...
I would not at all be surprised if it's just running out of video memory, and that dropping the AA would significantly increase the fps. Especially if it has ubersampling again. Being an early adopter of a sackfull of Titans I was a bit sad when I saw the 780 tis launch at the price they did. That being said I can play a ton of games in multimon with mental AA that would result in a slide show on a 780ti thanks to 3gig ram. Case in point... I can have modded skyrim in 1080p using over 5 gig video memory. It would suck so bad if you paid over a grand on video cards and had to dial down the AA when playing single monitor. Oh and contrary to popular trends I like FXAA
SLI is worthless, two cards just create a natural bottleneck between them and it doesn't even increase available memory. I'd much rather spend the money on a single card with two GPUs on it than SLI or a single card with more memory.
When someone buys a mid ranged card and SLIs them... just say get a single high end card, SLI makes almost every game worse, then you have to wait for drivers to fix it.
"I can play a ton of games in multimon with mental AA that would result in a slide show on a 780ti thanks to 3gig ram." Some benchmarks please? And vram is not so relevant as you might think vram is only a buffer and a faster card can process it faster so It doesnt really need it that much more. http://alienbabeltech.com/main/gtx-770-4gb-vs-2gb-tested/3/ looking at these benchmarks there is hardly any benefit in 2gs vs 4gb.
Hint, two GPUs on a single card is SLi. And memory still doesn't double.
SLi makes almost every game worse? Haha, please give me a single example.
lol Give him a slack guys.
hey now ! what about crossfire ? they dont suck ?
whats up with that ??
Big LOL worthy props.
if you google hardocp and check some of their sli/cf reviews you'll see that they benchmark cards with different detail settings to achieve playable fps. Quite often a lower ram combo will have to skimp on aa. I kinda live in an area where I don't have net access atm. I live on a farm in remote Australia but I will endeavor to run some benches and get you some pix. Most of my games are run in 5760x1200 and I was starting to run out of ram in some titles on my old 7970s. I upgraded to 6 gig 7970s and then when the titans launched, being far more powerful I upgraded to those. Most older titles aren't an issue for the 3gig cards. Some games with 8xmsaa still use about a gig in triple mon. Enabling ssaa can almost double that.
Some of the newer games were becoming an issue. Even my 3 gig 7970s could have played skyrim with my current mods had they had more ram. Since I have multiple titans I pretty much play everything with SSAA. What I was trying to get at is with my titans at stock clock being slower than 780tis at stock I could play with levels of AA and SSAA in certain titles that they couldn't.
You can also test for yourself. Get afterburner and enable the overlay and set it to show Gpu memory usage. Find a game that uses a ton of video memory. Ie skyrim, max Payne 3. And play with the settings or enable ssaa so the game wants more memory than your video card has and you will go from smooth game play to slide show. If the game is at your gpus max memory and the GPU usage % isn't high your video memory limited. You probably very rarely encounter it on a single screen but with triple mon setups and 4k it can happen easily. Providing you have the grunt for playable fps. I always hated the 690 for this reason. So powerful but gimped for triple monitor setups.
Posted from my phone so apologize for formatting and what not
Can't do that with such a blatantly ignorant post.
