Give my extensive knowledge of Georgia, let me help you out there. Where the helicopter was seen is actually quite deep in Atlanta, near the Dome. Herschel's farm is in Senoia. So about an hour speed-limit drive. It is a bit strange and a stretch, because Senoia is not directly off any major interstates or obvious paths from Atlanta. Only two ways make a bit of sense. First, they go down I-85 until they hit Newnan, and then kind of wander around, following food and gunshots, until Senoia. Alternatively, They go down I-75/85 until Forest Pkwy (Where I work, pretty populated, and transition to hwy 85 which takes you all the way down to Senoia, almost directly to the farm. A gunshot from the farm would almost certainly be heard from the road there. Something interesting about the second idea is that Hwy 85 leads all the way down to Columbus, which means Fort Benning. Hwy 85 doesn't lead directly to the fort, but relatively close. So, is it worth considering that perhaps the helicopter came from Fort Benning? Whether it's there or not anymore, it's interesting. This is of course assuming the real-life filming locations roughly approximate where each thing happens, which I assume it does, since all the locations are steadily making their way towards Fort Benning. EDIT: Never having walked from Atlanta to Senoia, I put it in the ol google, and it puts not-stop walking between locations at 12 hours. Of course, zombies get distracted, feed, walk slowly, etc. So who knows how long.
Twelve hours walking distance is quite close, so even for the zombies it would only be a few days. The helicopter was quite a specific thing to distract the zombies as it does hint at the possibility of a large group of people. Fort Benning going by what you have said sounds likely. Whether this actually plays any part in the story in the future, or whether it was just there to make you think there are a relatively large group of survivors somewhere is the real question. They did make the helicopter look nondescript so at least for the moment its probably the latter.
Season 3 Trailer : - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ShQz68Zkb3Y Big Bad Merle is Back Baby  :chainsaw2:
sweet! I had a nice long chat with one of the zombie regulars from season 2-3 a few weeks back at a local nerd convention. They would just paint her up differently each time they used her to make her appear differently. She was actually the one that shot zombie Shane at the end of season 2 because she said something about not allowing a child(Carl) to shoot firearms on set or something.
So will I be safe in saying that my mediocrity statement in my last post could well be wrong because that looked like it might well be very very good. Right let's start the betting, Rick says in the scene 'that they spilt blood' anyone wanna take a stab at which of the mains is gonna get zombified?
I'm watching it online oh yea It's a thing amc is doing for Dish Network customers since Dish dropped AMC T_T
Indeed second and third that, by that I mean she gets killed once by the zombies and then gets killed again when she becomes a zombie and if for some reason they can work in a way to kill her a third time... well that would be just fine with me!
^ Not sure about the exact date, but it's October for sure. I just hope they won't split it again and take a 2 month brake like they did in Season 2.
Oh ok thanks,i always download the latest episode 24 hrs after its been aired in the states,if i was gonna wait for it to appear here in the UK id be waiting another 6 months,i think they have just finished showing season 2 here,im like yeah seen that months ago.
