I'm a bit disappointed that they got rid of the whole Chernobyl story.
You just don't get any better setting than post-coldwar Pripyat.

Why? Because it allows for all the craziness and monstrosity, but it has the firm and well defined connection with reality.

Combination of easily believable/real/unbelievable is what kept me with STALKER all these years.

Oh and is it me, or it looks like Xrayengine is alive and kicking?
If not, game assets are defin. straight from the STALKER.

I hope they pull it off! I do see why people might not like it coz of MMO. they would have to created a big ass world tho

 

Nice to see they're going to try to implement something that makes wallhacks almost useless. Though it might be a bit buggy. There has been a server plugin for CSS before doing a similar thing but occasionally some weird stuff happened.

WOW....I can't believe I never knew about this. STALKER was indeed a true classic, and it was bitterly sad to hear that the new sequel was cancelled.

Sad to say but I think this is true...

BTW:
I don't mind that it's an MMO. In fact, I can see the basic faction and mission mechanics of STALKER fitting extremely well in an MMO.

You're a lone stalker and the other stalkers you see are players rather than AI. Factions, quests, etc...it all works the same. It should work.

Agreed those images look sweet. If they can just capture that stalker atmosphere and game play, they will have created a gold mine.

 

The enviroments are stunning, best i ever seen.....

Just wish it was single player.....

Tried it .. its amazing, the crafting system is addiction to me

 

Is it still only PvP mode? I'm looking forward to freeplay mode but hopefully by then people are still playing it.

time been going by too fast for me and have not had time to play any games...:bang:

 

Christmas Raid event in Survarium. You can get FREE premium rifles wich will provide +10% bonus to silver gain and have 3 random modifiers and also have custom paint job. RIfles are: UMP-45 (lvl.4); SVD (lvl.7); ASh-12 (lvl.10)

It took me one day to get one. Also, if you played this game some time ago - 10 level is the current max; previously as lvl.14 if I remember it correctly.

PS. Game become much better and even more stable from the last time I played it around 10 month ago. Game developing slow but improvements are good...
