I first encountered the idea of simultaneous time many years ago. There is a popular 'spirit essence' called Seth who delivered material on the 'nature of reality' thru an individual named Jane Roberts in a trance state back in the 60s. A lot of it contains many original and compelling concepts incl simultaneous time. He posits that consciousness exists in its own dimension, outside of the space-time continuum. But in physical reality as creatures, we need to perceive it as 'linear time' in order to function and survive effectively. But outside that, in dreams or altered states of consciousness, we may be able to perceive it outside of that scope. Incl at times experiencing bleedthroughs from 'future probabilities' that we often refer to as 'deja vu'. Or that the past can be changeable but you wouldnt experience it as 'changed'. Fascinating stuff.
i never got into the whole channeling spirits thing. but it fed my mind and made me realize i have a love of the quantifiable. i then got into "hard" SF where the laws of physics were often manipulated but always obeyed. but i do like fantasy now and again and ancient spirits often make for great story-telling. my take on the quasi-supernatural is very simple - it doesn't exist. what does exist are people with rare talents (that usually are misdirected). most of the so-called psychics/mediums/ tarot readers have a talent for reading people like books. this talent does follow the same distribution percentages of other talents but it also intersects with personality disorder in a likewise fashion. so, very often the "flip side of a coin" of a talented "psychic" is a very good police detective. or a bad psychic with a bad detective
Yes I am but it's also featured on the front page for me, or was since one or two days ago, without checking subscriptions. That's what I mean, yt chose to show it beyond me searching for latest subscriptions.
Btw, my wife has an aunt who has taught German for many years and she was in Austria (and Germany and Switzerland) many times with sport delegations and teams. She recalls Vienna as one of most delicious cities.
hehe I've heard so as well from other people visiting and working here. That Vienna's really nice, just not the people We're notorious for being unfriendly as it seems.
given my love of eating and cycling (i don't ski) Austria is a top destination, though i'm too old to be climbing mtns. being in the city and riding (as a tourist) is almost dangerous because of the eye candy. what i like best beyond the famous desserts and cafes is the folk food in the smaller towns i've ridden through and they like the cyclist trade.
