    Hi Darren

    Yours loop looks great there

Not sure what I can say on this if you should buy RTX 2080Ti when you have already GTX1080Ti

I don't game a lot on my PC, my PC is more for rendering and Folding@home etc than gaming due this I have in my loop 4 GPUs

Really not sure there, if budget allows then yes, but still I would wait a bit for price to drop

    Hope this helps

    Thanks, Jura

Depends on what you are doing. I was happy with my upgrade to a 2080ti from the 1080ti. If you're gaming in 4k, I'd say go for it.
That's a pretty nice looking rig you got there regardless.

    Thanks everyone
I've gone and ordered a Palit 2080ti Gaming Pro and EK water block. No turning back, I'm not canceling the order. I did some measurements and it should fit in my present case.
I will take the time to probably change my tubing and either go all clear coolant or that popular milky translucent everyone is doing.

will be interested to see what increase in fps you get in games, all i read say 20-25% only? I would buy one if it was 50%+

    Hi guys

Have few days to play with OC and done few benches as well, tried stock BIOS and not sure I just couldn't push card beyond 2074MHz and +650MHz on VRAM,core clocks wouldn't lock at 1.07v or 1.08v or even 1.09v and core clocks will bounce and has been all over the place etc...

Tried few BIOS,best which I'm currently running is Galax 380W,with which you have higher power target 126% and best OC to the date is on my RTX2080Ti sits at 2100MHz and +1000MHz on VRAM,I think 2126MHz should be possible,I played with OC just a bit

    Here are results

But still I'm getting strange CUDA errors in Octane,Blender or even DAZ3D IRAY which are I think nvlddmkm related, will need to investigate what is causing that, tried few drivers and with all drivers I'm getting nvlddmkm error and CUDA error 719 etc, will do few tests and will see if its GPU related or something else

    Hope this helps

    Thanks,Jura

Can we also have a counter on the first post of how many RTX 2080 TI have been RMA-ed due to Space Invaders please. This is going to be very useful info for a lot of people.

    Just joined the club
Yo know guys if you check my bio I've been here for a very long time, not that active. I only buy graphics cards to join the Guru of 3d new card clubs. No other reason

NOTE- I'm getting PCIe x16 3.0 support with this card connected directly to the motherboard. GPUZ picture below. It was very buggy getting PCIe x16 3.0 with my 1080ti. I think it was because I had a crappy riser cable. What do you think? I ordered a waterblock for this card and a Fractal Design Riser cable for this case. HOPEFULLY better quality than the one I have now from Amazon.

Firstrike and TimeSpy all maxed out at 1440p and then 1080p

    Happy New Year everyone!

Probably a 7nm refresh will be here this year. Prices though...

Everybody enjoy your purchases! Saw the keynote with money in hand but said no when I saw what it was. Not here to argue; everyone should do what they want to :)

I'm in the UK and had the same issue with a faulty DAC I returned.
I contacted UK customs, they asked for the "export commercial invoice (which accompanied the goods) from when they were sent out." because they couldnt locate the original export information for my purchase.
I didnt know how to obtain this and asked them how. They replied the info was located and the invoice nulled.

I imagine a similar process must be followed.
    Contact customs for your country.
Be nice, they can make things tricky if they choose.

Gave up on overclocking the memory on this card because it would lead to too much instability. Managed to finally get the core up to 2100mhz so I'm pretty happy with this card. Not sure if it will stay at this clock after summer comes around though.

interesting, the area in which my palit 2080ti burnt out, yours seems to have a larger black rectangle over it, wonder why that is?

Guys after thinking very hard and for a long time , also after seen AMD came out with another Vega GPU and not Navy , there is no other upgrade path for me but a RTX2080Ti at this moment since i only play at 4K. I will be selling my GTX1080Ti and the Water Block for it and some other unused hardware i have sitting here to lessen the hit of the $1,199US Dollars for a Founders Edition + a water block.

Guys wish one of the water blocks has the best performance since they are a lot of them ( Full Cover ) ?

Or it could still be driver issue, not OC at all.. NV has some hardtime with certain scenarios at cuda sw. I would suggest you to report a ticket to nvidia driver team and let them investigate further.

I have tried every driver available for RTX and with every Geforce Game Ready driver I have issue in rendering like TDR,CUDA errors or hard lock in worst case,I know people do have issues with multiple GPUs(4 and more) and PLX motherboards which is common and which hasn't been sorted for while, but this is mostly down to Win10 and Nvidia inability sort this, older drivers I think 388 are OK and can be used with multiple GPUs and they won't trigger TDR,problem is these drivers won't support RTX

Strange is people who are running Win7 are OK and they can run multiple GPUs without the single issue,I have run for while older drivers because I never have issues in rendering but that's with 3 GPUs not 4

There is bigger thread over on Otoy Octane forum where guys have issues with new or newer drivers and PLX boards, strange is I don't have PLX board,my board is ASRock X99 WS

I will report later this week,I'm just fed up with reinstalling drivers and testing every driver, currently running Quadro drivers which seems are good and didn't run to issues, but I didn't rendered for while and can't comment if this error and TDR won't return

    Hope this helps

    Thanks,Jura

    Hi Chispy

Hard to say and hard to recommend there,I will be getting probably Radeon VII(7nm) this is will be more for testing and mainly for some specific applications and probably will be housed in my brother PC,GTX1080Ti still have good resale value and you should be able recoup money

Regarding the full cover water block,my recommendation don't get EK Vector, its poor comparison to anything on market there,I would have look on Aquacomputer Kryographics NEXT 2080 Ti(looks awesome and with active back plate its best on market),Heatkiller IV for RTX 2080Ti,XSPC not sure there, not seen any review on this one,Bitspower hard to say, have bad experience with BP and won't touch them,Heatkiller or Aquacomputer are my favourites and would get these two

I have EK Vector RTX and literally I'm not very happy with performance of this block, bought as well for friend loop Bykski WB and for money its way better block and performance we will see there, quality of Bykski is way better than EK

    Hope this helps

    Thanks,Jura
