lol think fast $300 your ti mate? crap legacy mid range prob lose driver support 420.57
I think that reconstruction would be more correct term than upscaling in this case.
That is what happens when manufacturer has a lot of left overs from previous generation products. Release new product, rise the price and watch people buy older products. Clear inventory, seed more new products at slightly lower price and laugh.
That's extremely risky and a scumbag thing to do. I sincerely hope they cant sell em and are forced to sell them at a loss.
Yah, they are all over Amazon.
One Son of a bitch slimy POS is trying to sell the 2080 TI for $3K
In a perfect world, these people would be dragged out of their homes in the wee hours and … I digress
Simple supply and demand
Look what arrived in the post while I was at work today:
Although right now its a bit of a paper weight!!!
What's funny DLSS is so much sharper, it even almost removed DOF effect in final fantasy DLSS tech demo . But I have to say when I tried traditional downsapling in many games, I have also seen similar (d)effect. Personally I hate DOF anyway, so if DLSS will remove it, is even better .
Well you can remove TAA blur with a little LOD sharpening(-0.250 or -0.375 is more then enough), I don't see any shimmer cause of it, so that's ok..
Found this review for me the best one so far not too complicated
I've decided not to buy it and although I could really use the performance boost it's simply too much money 70% price increase vs 30% performance increase is just not good enough. I just hope game developers hold back on their requirements.
Solid review. I do disagree a bit with that end bit though... I would say the 2080Ti is the first REAL 4K 60p card, I think 120hz is a pipe dream, for a good while.
WELL unless you turn down a bunch of settings but hey, that's not why we spend £500+ on a GPU right !!!??
Dude you're rocking a whooping 1080Ti card already. You're set. If you are on gtx 980 ti or lower then there'd maybe be a real incitement.
They should test rtx vs pascal with the game named escape from tarkov. That game wants to ruin my gpu in anything over 1440p. 1440 is also hard on the gpu. Maybe rtx can run it in 4k at stable 60fps. But im not so sure. Hehe
Not the first review I've seen trying to make that claim (120Hz) and it is totally disingenuous.
By that standard, the 1080 (non TI) is a 4K/60 FPS card as you can play at those settings if you turn a bunch of things down/off.
JayZtwocents review was really good.
Can RTX 2080 output 4K@60Hz with 12/10bit via HDMI?
They are HDMI 2.0b compliant so can do all forms of HDR.
But you will need to use ycbcr 4:2:2 or 4:2:0 at 4K60.
