Is there a way to increase voltage and power limits on the Asus RoG Strix 2080 Ti GPU? I'd like to OC my cards some more but moving the slider doesn't seem to help? Is there a better BIOS that we can flash on this RoG Strix 2080 Ti that will make it OC better?

    The hard way: https://xdevs.com/guide/evga_2080tixc/

Bios with higher powerlimit is possible with Rog 2080ti. The key to higher clock is LOWER temperature on the gpu. Under 40c and 2150-2200 is possible with even stock "350w" bios

I got the most out of my Palit 2080ti. Water cooled and maxed out gaming. I'm happy. has run most of the latest titles very well at 1440 gaming, except the buggy, ported console shyte.
I will most likely buy a 3000 gen model GPU, It costs to be on the bleeding edge. I

    Hi there

Best BIOS for Asus RTX 2080Ti Strix is Matrix BIOS which is 360-366W BIOS and works well for me, on this BIOS my best OC is 2205-2220MHz in quite cold weather, in normal weather I can do 2160-2175MHz and in RT games usually I'm running 2145MHz

Other way how to increase power limit is shunt mod which I personally only done on GTX1080Ti not on RTX 2080Ti

Somewhere here is posted link on XOC BIOS which I have tested and run and it can pull 1000W quite easily, due this set power limit to something like 44% which will give you 440W power limit which is more than enough

    Hope this helps

    Thanks, Jura

Interesting - do you have a link to the Matrix BIOS? I'm air-cooling my cards so under load the GPU gets to ~ 62 - 65C. Will the added power help with OC'ing?

    Thanks in advance.

I hope to sell mine for 800-900€ (prices in Sweden are higher than normal mind you). Did buy it for almost 1500€ after all.

Keep in mind that some of the newest revisions of 2080 Ti may be incompatible with this.

Allright, put my card on sell. We'll see how it goes !

EVGA RTX 2080-Ti XC Ultra, great condition and with the full original packaging.
    Put it at 1000Euros.

As of today the card is still at 1400euros in France, had to take fancy pictures of it:

I've had my Palit 2080ti almost two years now, happy overall. "Value for money" "bang for the buck" PC gaming is diminishing returns. I did not buy these products to make money

The resale value of the 2080ti will drop. But I will get something to add towards a potential 3080.

I dont know, at this point will probably hang my 2080ti on a wall and call it a day! :D I was, and still am very happy with my card! I will wait for the actual numbers of course, but probably will buy the 3080(but most likely the 3090 :D ) based on the Cyberpunk 2077 performance I guess.... As mush as I want to hide it, I am and always will be, ....... a graphics ho**, no doubt about that! :D

I'll sell mine but I probably won't get more than 650€ for it. Must say that I did enjoy this MSI card and after all it's my third one now.

650 is kinda too much or ? Will be lucky if I get like maybe 500 for mine here in Germany:) after, and if I buy the new one (and probably will as I won’t be able to resist the temptation too much ) will probably try to sell it on the guru sell Thread, and probably only sell in in Germany.

Probably simply price differences between countries :) My card cost 1450€ new and my pal who bought the ASUS Strix version paid almost 1600€.

    Hi there

Why you want to flash PALIT RTX 2080Ti DUAL BIOS on your Asus RTX 2080Ti Strix which is just 310W BIOS, if you want best BIOS for Asus RTX 2080Ti Strix then I would suggest get Matrix BIOS which is 360W BIOS

Plus flashing different or rather reference PCB BIOS to Asus RTX 2080Ti Strix you will lose one DP port and HDMI port

    Hope this helps

    Thanks, Jura

You don't understand something... i've the rog strix standard version with 280w bios.

This board has a NON A revision GPU that is not flashable with A revision gpu (i can't flash it with matrix bios for example...), i can just flash for example with palit dual bios because palit dual card has a NON A gpu...

    Clearer now ??? ;-)

Got a bid of approx. 464 Euros (547USD) for my Palit Gaming OC 2080ti with the original cooler and waterblock thrown in
I have pulled back, I do not think I will get a 3080 now. It's all pretty booked up here. May have to wait a month or so.
