Is there any specific way/place you would like to receive the feedback?
Since you can't PM me ,you can post on the thread
Alright! By the way, I just installed it, loaded it up, etc. etc. Performance is fine with all ultra except Shadows on high and MB off as you recommend plus TXAA X2 on my setup. 50-60fps consistently.
I will make a suggestion! I believe that softer headlight shadows would significantly improve immersion!
Overall, fantastic so far!
It happen in 5.0 final just test it
Okay it's not there the isolated black tyre thing isn't there ! For me there is smoke along with the black weird tyre smoke as in vanilla version !

Been play it for 2 hours with your V5 Final mod + sunset
So about "smoke along with the black weird tyre smoke"
I have found 3 xbt files that causes black tyre smoke
File path: patch_unpack\graphics\gfx\smokes
I delete them, repack it and test it. Its work!! no more black tyre smoke
Will include the fix on next revisions and the credits will obviously go to ya !
Okay found out the Fix for the annoying rubber burning of tyre's !
Anyone who is facing this issue !
1) Use Rick's tools to unpack the v6 pre-alpha or v5 final patch.dat/fat
2)Go to patch_unpack\graphics\gfx\smokes
3)Then Delete the following files highlighted
4)Pack it using Rick tools ! And Gone !
Thanks to CoolerEra for pointing this out
v5 final - much much better performance, 38-55 fps :thumbup:
If v6 pre-alpha test 1 is having performance issue Try deleting the existing GamerProfile.xml and Let the game create a new one !
link me please
Nice! I'm facing this issue again with v5final, will test this fix when I arrive home. Will PM you to get v6 pre-alpha and give some feedback here.
Supersourav99, yesterday I was experimenting merging Maldo's textures with your v5final+Sunset's. My steps:
1. Compiled v5final with .exe tool, enabled high bloom, far and low DoF, Sunset's textures, reset XML.
2. Unpacked resulting patch.fat/dat files/folders from step 1.
3. Copied \WDT_Data\Mod_Selection\Textures_Version\graphics\_textures\ and \WDT_Data\Mod_Selection\Textures_Version\graphics\_textures_current_gen\ folders from TheWorse 0.8+Maldo's official version over unpacked v5final+sunset's, overwriting existing files.
4. Pack resulting files/folders it again.
The result is incredible After much testing, I still prefer Maldo's textures over Sunset's, much better texture quality selecting high textures with little texture aliasing and for some reason I get less stuttering with Maldo's.
Upload your patch.dat/fat files so we can test this for ourselves.
V6 Pre-Alpha test 1 links already on the main page
In the latest v5 final, is the timescale back to default? i'm looking at the changelog and it says it's not set to default :S can i set this manually myself after downloading v5 final?
thanks for the hard work guys XD
I will try your method of merging Maldo's hack with V5+Sunset.
But for info, I play with V5+Sunset textures, but selecting Ultra textures (all others settings are max too), and i have NO stuttering at all.
Try to edit your GamerProfile.xml and search for the line which start like this :
<GameProfile Sensitivity="0.9" ........
insert TimeScale="30", so the line will look like this :
<GameProfile TimeScale="30" Sensitivity="0.9" .......
Save, and make the file read only.
Yes,none except the v4 final has default timescale
We thought of removing the timescale to default ,but we forgot
In my testing with Sunset's, I get some stuttering with ultra texture setting, while Maldo's gives me the smoothest gameplay and also Maldo's high textures look better than Sunset's ultra. Note the game is MUCH better optimized for Nvidia cards.
Remember that if you use Maldo's textures, you have to set textures to high (this looks like ultra) otherwise his mod will be disabled. Maldo also recommend 2 render frames in options.
