I am sure it doesn't hurt.. I would rather have the electrical surge stop before entering my pc. I hope you also use a surge protector. I always plug my pc's into one of those. I had my trip during a storm before. Once the power came back on all I had to do was press a reset button on the strip and power was let back through. Mine has a switch, a test/reset button, some lights and a speaker to let me know something is up. Oh and some phone jacks to protect the phones.

The Injector is much much more powerfull then the Cheat Engine fiddling, also you can find more features and integrate it in your cheat table by using the injector ;)

Does anyone have a modified version of the latest beta windy_city.game with some bug fixes they are willing to share? Saw william456 fixed the ssao a few pages back and I'm wondering if anyone has manage to fix the black rain or anything else while we wait on Supersourav99 to get back.

Will the "Always Rain" option still be present in future versions?

That was one of my favorite bits of your mod.

Oh, and I agree with whoever made that comment about more steam/fog being needed. I looked at the E3 demo footage again and can definitely see it has more of that in the distance. Especially when it's raining.

So, hope that gets included in the next update. Loving it all so far, keep up the good work! :)

Pure i think it was a good decision to change back to the brighter Night Sky :)

Btw i like the Black Rain partly for analyzing it's screen behavior in combination with the Wind Simulation, if it just wouldn't start to go so extremely high wire after some minutes with the additional black flicker boxes :D

Hehe not sure yet what he changed but it brakes several stuff currently ;)

Biggest Render issues in the Beta (most obvious in directly percepted visibility)

    - Missing Video Playback (Video Walls everywhere)
    - Black Rain effect after some time it starts to flicker with black boxes and becomes pretty hard to see anything.

Where is the Performance version? And the Lite version?

Can you recommend a version that runs better on a dual core?

The Balanced version runs slightly better than vanilla(!), but not enough.

Can I just ask? Are you planning a night time update as well?

I tired your Test version recently and I loved it. The work you did with the daytime and rain made my jaw drop. I'm even able to play on High textures now which was something I couldn't' do originally.

Downside I notice however is that the night time setting isn't as dark as it used to be. Even for a well lit city it does seem a bit too light.

So just thought I'd offer that as feedback for when you get back to modding. To match the E3 demo, night time does need to be a bit darker. Either that, or the lights should provide less illumination. Depends what it is.

Keep up the good work mate. I actually changed to your mod after originally using TheWorse's version. He however seemed more focused on making the game run better rather than trying to restore it to E3 glory. You on the other hand wish to do exactly that, so I personally think you mod is better.

    Hope my feedback helps.
