1:40 reminds me of VATS' animation I hope they release some raw footage soon. I want the game to do the talking and not some irritating streamer or devs going on and on I hope the sounds will be good too.
you know they going to q&a this game hard before release, being they known for buggy launches if they could lick that and make this solid for release?
They have the potential to hit a grand slam homerun on bethesda. They have to make a good to great game, they have to make a stable and relatively bug free game, and they have to win over gamers with this IP.
They do all that to a decent degree of success and they won this round definitively. Knock that last hurtle.
They've said the game will have it's own version of VATS.
Huh ... feels unnecessary but we'll see.
I really hope that Obsidian nails this game. After Fallout being "streamlined" into a bland shooter with looting and unnecessary basebuilding, I really want a good RPG experience. New Vegas showed that you could have a good FPS RPG Fallout game, but Bethesda chose to completely ignore it.
I hope that it is successful enough that they can go on to make more games in this style.
conversations -> New Vegas
graphics -> reminds me of F76\F4, and it isn't a bad thing in my eyes.
looking forward for this one. looks very promising.
Looks like the Steam release is 12 months delayed...
Epic Store and Window Store exclusive at launch.
Yup, just saw this on reddit.
More and more devs going over to the Epic store. At this rate, most (if not all) AAA games will be Epic exclusives. As I said in another thread, I think the devs are fed up with Steam's fees and are looking for a cheaper alternative (Steam should seriously consider lowering their fees at this point).
Wait a year it is then. At this point I have a personal hate against Epic and I am just going to avoid anything on that store whatsoever. If they truly had faith in their product they wouldn't need to poach games off storefronts that have already been advertising the game. I have plenty of other games to play in the meantime.
I wondered if that would happen thanks to it using unreal engine. I'll just torrent it. Thanks for saving me money, Epic
I think Steam just sits it out.
They make enough money from the trashware through greenlight, and 12 months later the game is on steam anyways.
Let them do or not do what they want, I've no interest in juggling a bunch of accounts and dealing with security/2fa bs just to play games. At this point, I'm better off not buying anything. I won't be buying 2019 games in 2020 and slavishly thank them for gracing the better service.
I like using steam, but they do take a massive cut which I have heard as a major complaint over the years. At least the Epic Store will help keep them honest... competition is good.
Forcing them to lower their fees would not be a bad thing.
Are you bloody serious........ I am getting so fking sick of epic........ this is the second game ruined for me now because of epics fkyou money.... this pisses me of so much.
love people blaming steam for "trashware" when its peoples jobs to vet what they put their money into.
how many people have any vaoprware in their steam library at all? i got over 100 games and not one is garbage, and if there is trashware on the store at all it is not hard to figure out.
Only time steam should get involved is when devs asset flip/rebrand/bot review fluff and etc things that are either illegal or things that are trying to skirt or exploit the system.
If people stupid enough to buy garbage games (outside AAA hyped games that fall flat) that is on them or maybe not give little timmy the CC and access to the steam account.
Remedy's new game 'Control' is also exclusive to Epic.
And... that one... I don't think is a timed exclusive. So yeah, f**k Epic. So damned dense they don't even see that they are hurting the PC gaming industry, not helping it.
lest when it hits steam it will be dlc complete and on sale likely, well less it gets cracked in that year then what is the point?
tick tock. this garbage is going to hurt them no way in hell am i touching epic.
I'll just leave this here.
Urquhart's last hurrah of shittyness before M$ start handling their games.
Shifty dude shifty deals (well i suppose it could be just the publisher, still a shifty dude anyway ).
Inconvenient but I can wait to avoid epic.
