Well that doesn't look too bad. The wood texture looks a bit out of place though imho.

 

i no i was just messing about with the wood lol + with the texture dss file i used as a template for my texture, it has another file with it that look like it adds a embossed affect to the texture

question:

how is this file created?

1.is it like a emboss tool or sumat or....
2. can i do it in Adobe Photoshop Elements 4.0 as thats the app im using to edit them

 

lol guys i noticed one thing

i started the game as a mage and loved to summon things, so started summonig everything i could buy.

i noticed that the skill raises amazingly fast!

i the summon skill was at level 30 i think and in half an hour with alot of potions and summoning all the time the skill was at lvl 75 O.O

i also reached lvl 4 only by raising that skill


amazing O.O


now i can summon all sorts of hugly beasts lol

(daedra lord, ecc...)

im not sure if i like the look of depth of field in any game but i will give it a go now

Nice... its the texture pack 3 im REALLY waiting for though m8 that looks stunning!

 

i got to say i dont like the dof mod as it affects so much i.e. torch/indoors look weird some time + a big frame rate drop in some places as u can see in the screenies (i get loads more most of the time without it)

qarls cant wait for ur texture pack 3 thought, when can we expect it

Weird i installed it and its the same. Now i get a stupid stun effect whenever something hits me. Like when you throw a stun grenade in Far Cry.

 

Qarl my love of your work continues That depth of field works well , it's one of my favourite additions in the Gothic 3 engine.

And your third texture pack is stunning its great work pal , and its fully appriciated.

im just wondering if when u release ur texture pack3 if it over rights all the other textures in pack2,


i want to no this because if i was to reinstall the game would i just need pack 3 do add all the new/old textures or will pack 2+3 be needed to get all the edited textures

Qarl, i can already see what your next project will be after this... The "Motion Blur" mod which will add motion blur to Oblivion!

But now that the DoF mod is out, i think i'll give Oblivion another go.

 

CTD and PC shut down

every time i play oblivion after 10 minutes of play my pc shuts down and restarts. any ideas?
