Maybe it is kind of port game.

Bloober have never released optimized games, why is this a surprise? Layers Of Fear had high frame rates but unity engine stutter was present and then Observer, well, Observer was a weird one. On an older system it ran like junk but a new system managed to brute force it and I ended up having a relatively smooth experience, performance was still not relative to the visuals on display however. Reasonable game though. I'll buy this, as the game interests me but I'll be looking to wait until I at least have a new RT capable card that does it justice.

A game that is unable to maintain 60 fps on high-end hardware at realease date means one thing: the game developers leave in another world and should be avoided. Usually you get no real support from such game devs except buy better hardware yet no such hardware is available...

I Will test both with my RTX 3080 and with the Xbox series X console. Seems similar like a Ubisoft game, referring to Watch Dogs: legion where RT doesn't impact that much and DLSS doesn't boost properly. So this could be something with Nvidia or the developers have a faulty engine for this game. Even after the last night's patch from Ubisoft's WD: Legion the performance boost is only 4fps in my case.. they did however fix a lot of bugs... still, no stable 60fps as promised at 4K Ultra, looks like shadows are a big culprit on that game, if you turn it down to high, you will get more fps, but not much. Valhalla doesn't have this problem, neither does it have RT or DLSS, so the culprit could also be the bad RT and DLSS implementation here. We will see eventually.

If this game is similar to WD:Legion, then it is already a failure on day one. Could also be a ported Xbox series x to the PC version. We never know.
To be honest, the game doesn't look that interesting. PS exclusives are far more interesting.

If DLSS and RT has little impact on performance, then i guess there is a bottleneck somewhere: There is probably too much polygons displayed at the same time...
If my theory is exact then this game should run significantly better on RX6800/6900XT cards since they are better at handling polygons (RTX30XX are better with textures). A good CPU should also help improving the framerate.

Yeah but at least it looks interesting which is way more than I can say about quite literally 99% of "TrIpLe AaYyYyyyy" games.

This is a strange detail in the way the game is made, isn´t there a better solution than this?
