still haven't finished the original game btw whose voice is it in the trailer ? I recognize it, but can't quite pin it. oh it's James Franco isn't it.
To be honest i gotta chuckle at the idea of just labeling a sequel by adding THE in a title that already contains it. Hopefully relations between CI and Hexworks or whatstheirname will go better than Deck13 which got so salty they severed the deal before the game got even properly patched.
I played and finished the original. It was not as bad as a lot of the reactions led me to believe (I've definitely played worse), but the game kinda became boring halfway in, and some of the later levels were confusing to navigate. While the visuals were impressive (at the time), nothing stood out and sort-of blended together. I hope they learn from that.
Interesting so its not a sequel but rather a reboot now. The first game was really not for me, God knows I've tried so many times to get into it, but I really didn't connect to the game. It had sluggish gameplay, and bad gameplay designs. Hopefully this title will be better.
