That's not a surprise if you played all DLC from the original.

 

I was really looking forward to this but the story sounds beyond fked. First game was one of the best games i played on ps3 & 4.

 

There is more than an hour of raw footage.

I am not linking to it.

Naughty Dog and Sony are going ballistic on anyone covering it.

The sexual preference of characters is not what's making me angry... or anyone else..

 

Sorry, I don't do any gaming on a console and I have no intention of buying Last of Us 2, but I saw this picture and I thought it was funny

The "leak" hour long video is from a dev build by the way, it is marked as such at the bottom of the video.

 

This is how Naughty Dog are reacting to these leaks.

 

What do these YouTubers expect when they are making videos about copyrighted unreleased gameplay footage from a company like Sony? Come on.

On a side note. The infamous footage (which I won't look at in case I buy the game.) Was leaked by someone is/was translating the footage to another language, as it had subtitles on the said video.

Does anyone remember the broken arcade DLC from the first?

 

There are people talking about it, not showing any footage from the video... just talking about it and getting "copyright strikes".

Basically Naughty Dog is over reacting, which in turn is bringing more attention to the whole thing.

 

If they are giving away the so called plot, then that's understandable. Didn't the game get halted at one point with no ETA for release? Perhaps they changed it.

That is one scarey person. Still not as bad as most horror games I've played, or watched.

 

That is not how copyright works... you can talk about something that is already in the public domain, which these leaks are, no copyright laws are being broken, no copyright is being infringed by people talking about publicly available information that is not under signed nda.. you know what a leak is right?

They can claim copyright on video & audio & images from leaked footage, they cannot claim your words talking about such things..

Imagine if that was actually how the world worked, you said something online and a company didn't like what you said so they could just remove what you said because you were talking about their product in a negative light so because it was an opinion about "their" product they could claim copyright....

Naughty Dog are over reacting, it's going to impact them negatively.

 

If they are taking about the games plot then that's up to the uploader. I guess it would be better to blog about it, rather than put it on YT, thereby showing plot leak or something in the search criteria. They make money off the views too.

Sony filed for a 'cross platform spoiler blocking platform' in October 2019. I've no idea what it is or does though.
