It's suppose to be like that. The seeker head kind just freefloats while searching for a laser to pick up on

It's noisy due to the high iso. it captured with K750 camera and 35mm film attached in front of the lens. Swapped color in CS2. I'm interested in IR photography lately. Still waiting for cash to convert the camera body.

    ^ pretty shot :)

Nothing too special about this one, but it was a fluke snowfall that day and found myself taking some pics of the whiteout

scooby, that looks awesome as it is, but i can imagine it with a black frame and black and white, would make an awesome poster
azri, that first silhouette is awesome
WLADYC, old lens still seems sharp as hell, and your avatar pic is awesome, would love to see it in a bigger size

anyways, my school had a trackmeet on friday

i was thinking "so far, yet so close" for the title, far because their away from the pack, but their literally inches from each other so yeah.. comments would be nice

Hey Funkgab nice shot. It is tack sharp and you've done a great job at freezing the action. The composition is very nice too, makes you want to stop and look.
Although camera and lens has no relevance to good photography, I would also like to know what you were using and your shutter speed. I'm guessing it was something like 1/1000 and a large aperture.

    Here's a couple I took this week.

That's really good, the only thing I would change is the framing of the girls in the front, it's too tight, other than that, great work!

eclap, i couldn't do anything about the framing =/ they were pretty much inches away from each other, and i was using a telephoto so yeah..

I wish I had bought that 70-300VR when I had the chance. I think the retail is around $650 and Circuit City had one for $420 in their closing down sale when I bought my camera. I had the money but thought it was better for me to wait and learn more about photography first before spending all my cash on lenses that I may not even use.
I ended up spending my money on a cheap 70-300 and a Sigma 105 macro which was well worth the money.

its not as great as you think it is, your better off saving for a 2.8 retail is 500.. but i tried the cheap 70-300 as well, this ones just better only because the autofocus, and its a tad sharper
