    No photoshop :)

It is a 30 second exposure at F13, the 30 seconds means everything among shadows or dark will be invisible but everything with a light will show as a trail if it is moving

Im just wondering, what is the general consensus here about the new rebel xt/350D? I posted some pics with a D70 earlier, but that was actually a friends camera. I am looking to upgrade from my old film slr to digital, but have an extremely tight budget, thought I would get some actual users opinions of this camera. thanks guys

The 350D is unbeatable in all fields of performance and price ratio in this class of DSLR and there is no question about that right down from image quality to print resolution to speed and compatability. The D70 is also USB 2 BUT all functions are done via the USB 1.1 IO so it only runs at USB1 speeds, the 350D is fully usb2 compatible though so transfering files from camera to pc is lighting fast in comparison.

ok i see, i understand the concepts of photography never tried it myself (getting my cam in a couple of weeks) i just thought that even with long exposures things like cars will show up...
but can you explain to me what does F13 mean?

the smaller the aperture the larger the f number, a large f number means more light is needed and thus a longer exposure is required so moving light trails are easy to get with an aperture of 8 or above without getting lights as a bluob streak

I was amazed at the sheer awesomeness of seeing it in reality

Annoying that there were people in the way but i had to wait long enough for there not to be people at the front of it just to get that picture...

Nikon Coolpix 5700, resized (was in an odd aspect ratio for some reason)
