hey chukb what lens are you using? the close up picture of the grizzlies head has quite a bit of purple fringing towards the bottom of the pics.

I got out the tent at about 6am and just stumbled on that. The best damn sunrise I have ever seen.

Wow, I always like that visible sun rays effect. And catching the aurora in Florida? Maybe it was a rainbow?
I thought the aurora was caused by the polar magnetic wave fluctuations, so somewhere near the equator is the last place they'd appear at.

I'm gonna have to be honest, my favorite picture here was taken by my g/f. These have been resized, of course, but they were only taken with a Samsung Digimax camera, and I'm pretty happy with how they turn out for only a $200 digi.

From the Reptile Museum in Drumheller, Alberta, and an old coal mine structure just outside the same town.

This is the one my g/f took. Everything just seemed to work out with it.

Some pics i took on my way home from college.

I did not use the flash but instead used the lighting from the lamps.

This is Verezano Bridge at night but i couldnt get a good shot at it. Still i like the picture because it looks nice with the lights.

And here is a close up of plant that looked interesting.
