oh yea absolutely! i have sooooo much more respect for those hardcore birders now that i start getting into birding, huge challenge just spotting the birds itself, let alone getting a good shot of them, really need a lot of patience too, very rewarding when you do get the shot tho

    one more from yesterday:

I think it was half drowned, it had it's wings open when I first found it on the floor of the beach, by the time Id gotten the phone ready it closed up, looked a bit cold and wet so I picked the pebble up and put it higher up on the cliff face away from the tide coming in lol

of course when i have dinner plans and not prepared to shoot i get one of the most amazing sunsets i've ever seen...had gut feeling it was going to be something special looking at the sky in the afternoon so took a detour before dinner

of course the sky couldn't be like that when i was actually out shooting yesterday *cry*

    Haha - yes indeed.

Iggyblack - the first dune would be my pick. Would be interesting to see what a B&W treatment might do for it. That sunset is nicely done.

bballfreak6 - Your birds! Love the quality of the lens but yeah, def not a bird person :( - your sunsets on the other hand are fantastic as usual.

Extraordinary - Poor little guy. Still - "my kingdom for a macro lens" is all I am thinking there.

[IMG]Last Light by basketballfreak6, on Flickr

another cracking sunset today, and without fail i wasn't prepared for it (didn't get home from work until like just before sunset), grabbed my gear and made it to a property up the road, got the very last bit of light (shot taken about 15 minutes after sunset) but was bummed that i just missed out that narrow window where the colour was most intense ><

Looks much better on the S5 AMOLED screen than it does after cropping, resizing and uploading on PC lol
