do you think it's better to post pictures in a smaller or larger size?

I find that pics in smaller size look sharper so it's easier to disguise flaws.

1100px on the longest side is usually good enough for web use. and as far as the two pictures above, your white balance is wonky.
Street lights way too yellow, same problem in the second as well as magenta shadows.

First picture was taken with auto it was edited by me using gimp. Same with the 2nd picture. The 2nd picture looked ordinary so i played around with the WB and even though like you mentioned it looks wonky well the finished product makes it look how should i put it "glossy" i have been looking at pictures posted in this thread and noticed the really good ones don't look like what you see with your eyes. They look really nice but they don't look like what you see with your naked eyes. The background colors and everything seems to have been enhanced so i decided to do the same with the pictures to make them look less boring and ordinary.

Street lamps are yellowish and when i use auto they come out yellow perhaps i should use a cooler WB.

It's overly done, but after some practice you should be ok. :)

Overly done meaning it's too detailed or something?

I actually like it way over done.
It gives it a 'grunge' feeling which adds to the setting.
Anyone can take a photo of a few houses and a street, but this one stands out due to it being overly done.
I guess you either like it or you don't (I am in the 'like it' camp).

Also love the photo of the watch mft4 (the usual setting for hands is 10 to 2, but it doesn't matter).

Thanks PCthug. I never remember to set the hands to 10 to 2 or 10 past 10. Its only when editing I realize.:bang:
I'm sure ive seen your name pop up on a certain watch forum. You own a lovely Vintage Omega and Rolex if i remember correctly.
