Garden bushes got a bit of a trim so tried to snap a couple just to see if there's a bit more light coming through the branches. Not exactly proud of these, but I do like them. Very hangover today :)

I was hella tired from working overtime plus riding my bike to work this week, so I didn't take many pics today. Was too tired to even walk further into the track.

thanks but I'm not a fan of them tbh, just thought I'd post something, it's been a while. Been messing about with my mates 60D today, also used my flashgun and Lumiquest softbox and found this ugly hangover looking fly, couldn't get sideways to it before it flew away but here it is anyway

    EDIT: Another snap from today

Flies, especially the smaller ones, are real pain to shoot. They just won't stay still, it's shoot and pray that something looks acceptable.

Old shots, first ones with DSLR.

That last one is great. It's incredible how complicated these tiny bugs actually are, how much detail they have.

Not technically proud or anything, I'm just rather pleased with what the S4 camera can do from a point-and-shoot POV.

    Oh, certainly! :)

Suffice to say, I'm getting more and more pleased with this thing every day that goes by.

Instead of all the pretty glam shots that I normally shoot, I tried something different.
