    well basicly you need to write a script.
    ive done this for other games, this does involve massive amount of time to figure things out though.

    Jericho certainly had/have some of the best looking monsters in terms of graphics, they're quite realistic and nicely rendered, i did like Jericho and finished the game.

    nice screenies. :cool:

    it's a map called 'Dream Experimental'.

    Nice shots! Is that a male and a female? :grin:

    To fix your hud (the large overlapping numbers), which looks like the darnified ui 'DUIF3', you'll need to add the following lines to fallout.ini overwriting the similar font lines already present.

    @gridiron whirlw

    Lol, I need to try that ghoul mod.

    I'm guessing Crytek are hoping that said modular design will allow them to easily update and enhance the engine over time, like with Warhead or the way Valve update Source.

    Unreal 3 has an advantage in that Unreal 2 engine was popular as well, so its natural to move development on. Also, timing is important. People are looking at engines now for games that won't come out for a number of years, and with ID's new engine and the next Unreal engine already in the works those options are going to look pretty appealing, espesically for the next gen. of consoles.

    The first Cryengine looked amazing for it's time in Far Cry, but it was only Crytek who ever used it. Even playing through Far Cry in 2009 it still looks good in many respects. The sheer size of the maps in those games - must be so much vegetation work just making a single level which many gamers will just run through and only be on the screen for a short time.

    Uhh... Actually one developer especially chose CryEngine2, because of it's easy handling. The developer is Paleo Entertainment and the game is Merchants of Brooklyn. The game doesn't even look close to Crysis although it uses CryEngine2, but also gaining popularity cell shading tehnique, just like in new Prince of Persia.
    Here's the site...

    Wow! I didn't know that Timesplitter 4 will be using CryEngine2, but I did hear about the purchase of the studio that makes Timesplitters series. Is there a chance that it'll be released on pc? I'm not really familiar with franchize anyway so no harm if it doesn't...

    His major point was that Unreal 3 etc have an advantage over Cryengine and are more popular, nothing posted so far disproves that to be fair. Those are hardly major, industry leading developers. Maybe in the future...and those unreleased games might change things, but this is just speculation right now.
