nope, simply installed the game and played (only forced AA & AF with nhancer). ;)

i only bought the game a couple of month ago and have been playing it on & off since then but i must say i really love it, it's an excellent action game with a great adult story similar to those cool action movies and the special effects at times are mind blowing (the car chase was superb).

Well damn, 8xAA supersampling does wonders for Singularity, the performance hit is worth it (with Vsync on frames jump between 35-62fps). It seems that Edge-detect didn't actually work in my last set of screens, and that it doesn't seem to work for any UE3 game in general (at least from what I've tried)

and now experimenting with 8xAA Adaptive MSAA (though it would've been better if i got side-by-side comparison shots, ah well)

35fps it worth it?? lol gl, i had similar dips when forced aa, but i couldn't stand playing below 60fps especially with such fast paced shooter..

lol, hence why I'm now using Adaptive, allows me to keep the frames at 59-62fps constant. Through comparison, supersampling definitely looks better both in screens and when you're standing still, but once you're moving a lot (especially in a fast-paced shooter like this), it hardly makes a difference

personally i'm not getting much of a performance hit with 8xQAA and 8xSS, barely 15fps loss, my fps avg 75 lowest 50fps, without 8xSS i avg 90fps, keep in mind i play all my games with vsync off (disabled in nvidia CP). ;)

i hate vsync, without a little tearing on screen i start feeling dizzy because vsync makes movement look far too smooth and my eyes can't take it, i really need the element of disturbance (the one people often complain about) such as screen tearing or if vsync is enabled for any reason i need a little stutter every now and then.

in W7 i disabled all the fading effects too, i guess i suffer from mild motion sickness symptoms, no wonder i never played PREY. :puke2:
