The End ..
Great game and effects
Maybe you mean: The End...?
Dragon Quest XI
Time to wrap this one up and only now do I find out there's a camera mode in the game ha ha.
I do like how some of the powers and buffs you can use have these little cutscenes to them, reminds me of the old Final Fantasy breaks and what else they have been called over the years.
Texture quality and lower polygon geometry makes it harder to take good shots, camera isn't that flexible either but it's better than before.
The highlight is the enemy creatures these are still consistent with designs way back from the first game but with newer tech improvements.
(Though from what I hear the 3DS version allows for seamless switching between 2d and 3d modes which is not possible here in the UE3 PS4/PC/Switch version of the game.)
And it figures there'd be a lot of dragon like creatures in a game beginning with a dragon slaying story way back in 1985 I think? (1986 or 1987 world-wide?)
From what I'm hearing the artist has a bit of a problem with characters though although creatures and most of all vehicles and mech designs is something he excels in.
(I WILL EAT YOUR SOUL BOY! - Yeah something like that.)
And then there's this image, flute to rod to well this...yeah I don't have too much to say here about this one.
(THE POWER OF THE LUMINARY!)
(It's supposed to be a fishing rod and then things get really weird and that should be the last step of the journey, probably not though because the game should still be quite a few hours longer looking at the average completion time.)
I give up
upload to flickr , that's it
oh and watch the file size if it's bigger than 35mb it'll get compressed by flickr
That's pretty generous, most other image hosts have 1 - 3 MB and it can get auto compressed or altered in other ways.
On that note I believe you always want to link to the original image via Flickr or they apply sharpening for the downsized versions.
(Although I have not used them since they sold the service to whatever it was again. Thought it was a good time to find a different service.)
Candleman: The Complete Journey (Reshade)
Elder Scrolls Online (Reshade - Uberfidelity)
Skyrim SE (ENB):
then a hacker came and ruined it xD
Here looks like Alexios is using some kind of superpower
Shadow of the Tomb Raider - Nvidia Ansel - ReShade
Red Dead Redemption 2
Xbox one X ( i don't know why they're so blurry )
The game uses dynamic resolution does it not? Maintains 3840 but scales 2160 dynamically if you're using 4k, there's also a very stylized tone map effect and other shaders likely including temporal anti-aliasing which while it keeps the image stable some of these are very blurry, tends to be pretty fast though comparably to other anti-aliasing modes.
Guess Digital Foundry might have some additional info, short of a dev kit or more specialized tools though exact info would have to be provided by Rockstar I guess or the PC version if that's planned.
(Say PC in 2019 and if they are revealed then XBox One's and PS4's follow-ups for 2020 and more updates to those versions utilizing even newer hardware capabilities I would assume as a pretty good plan for re-releasing the game twice.)
EDIT: Or maybe there's capture devices for XBox One and PS4 and you could get frame data that way and some info, think that's the best you'd get without more in-depth data however.
EDIT: Yep that's ghosting on those fir trees there or what they are, classic artifact I'm thinking for TAA whatever method the game is using which is probably something custom.
(Kinda like SMAA T2X but not quite as bad as in it's debut in Crysis 3 and it's tall swaying grass vegetation.)
EDIT: Ah I think I'm being dumb about the resolution scaling.
It scales the vertical, maintains the horizontal so x*2160 not 3840*x
i knew it wasn't running full 4k at all times , i had to blast the sharpness on my TV to fix that while HDR was on , it does looks sharp in cutscenes though
On xbox one x it should be 4k native with no checkerboard wizardry. It's blurry probably because of the TAA.
Call of Cthulhu + Reshade
SYNTHETIK Legion Rising (Reshade)
Red Dead Redemption 2
