Early memorable scene, still think I prefer Rise over Shadow but plot and gameplay aside it has some memorable scenes and the visuals hold up for the most part, some really good looking set-pieces and scenic vistas.
If it isn't in hiatus I wonder what the next Tomb Raider entry will be like.

EDIT: And may the next hardware console generation be capable of some decent fur so that can be a bit of a baseline quality step up.
(Although the current gameplay -> cutscene visual difference could be evened out but that's just gonna widen or so I expect.)

All I hope for is that they make a new game with the original actual badass Tomb Raider and that it has dinosaurs.

I'd prefer the original Lara as well. She was actually fun as a character if you read her backstory. Basically, she was a bored thrill-seeker with a lot of money, and kept the ancient artifacts of equally ancient doom in her private collection (hence the title - she was indeed a graverobber in the end).
She also killed bigfoot before the start of TR1...
The new games made her into more of a bland "hero of the common folk". Also, she had no boring family issues (OK, her dad wrote her out of inheritance IIRC).

Tallboys and ruins from the past, looking pretty good despite the games age by this point.
Art direction holds up well though, fun to just explore too and see all these eye catching landmarks and what awaits.

And when not blocked by terrain invisible walls or immediate save-game loading barriers of exploratory hindrance just go "Skyrim" and take the mountainous route 90 degree slopes never hindered anyone in a video game. :p

    EDIT:

Silly *and* awesome headgear, must be an important dude!

EDIT: The guy has chainsaw bunny ears, it's ridiculous but it works and it looks kinda cool too.
Chainsaw bunny ears...video games makes you say the strangest phrases. :D

While trying to repair a Logitech G25 H-shifter I broke one of the potentiometers so no more manual shifting until I can find a replacement part or another H-shifter. Although this won't stop me going for a cruise in Test Drive Unlimited.

It's just sunset... he LOVES games being super blurry, the blurrier the better... it's not the engine, it's him using blur filters...
