    For anyone wondering:
    Assassin's Creed Odyssey (2x)
    GTA5 (2x)
    Watch Dogs (2x)

Games could really do with a lot less icons on screen all the time. Screenshots like those look awesome, but gameplay rarey looks like that because YOU NEED TO PAY ATTENTION TO THIS QUEST MARKER.

Updating the engine to utilize physically based shading sure pushed Cry-Engine to some really impressive visual feats, as one of the earlier XBox One launch titles that must have stood out though overall 2013 - 2014 when this started being a big thing in games and game engines marks a pretty distinct shift in visual fidelity even if implementation and the visual style will vary depending on what's being done here.

Or in short Ryse still looks really good.

The Last of Us 2 screens are also impressive, character model fidelity in particular is very impressive so it'll be interesting to see what can be done on the upcoming hardware plus the usual first year lineups compared to a year or two later as per usual.

All Crytek games (not that many) still look great even today. Better than most of the games. The only exception would be Far Cry. And to top it off their games run pretty good performance wise. Except Crysis at the time of release since it's single threaded mostly and in Crysis 3 there are some scenarios where the GPU usage drops drastically for no reason which tanks the FPS to 30 and below. Specific to AMD cards. Can't wait to see what they do with the remaster of Crysis.

Yeah remaster of Crysis without the single threaded design in the early versions of the engine and not being held back by the X360 or PS3 consoles the first time they re-released the game on newer hardware plus the improvements through all these years and that should make for a very impressive remastering of Lingshan I believe the island was called again.
The VTOL segment that really showed how hampered the games performance could be from that particular limitation even if I believe the developers implemented a bit of dual-core support so it's not entirely single threaded.
(Plus improvements over D3D10 especially going into Vulkan or D3D12 instead though D3D11.1 and on would be a big update already.)

Also curious to see what the new GSC can do with their take on the new Stalker game, those titles with current hardware would have removed a lot of limitations with A Life and having to turn the map into separate zones and all that.
(Partially seen in the Metro games and the X-Ray engine even if these are level based and progressed through in a more linear fashion.)

I do expect modding and stuff like the development console to be reigned in though and depending on if it's going with EAC or something like that for online third party utility support might be limited but we'll see how that turns out once Crytek has more to show for whenever the next video or preview will be out. (Or the game itself.)

Screenshot wise ReShade 4.6.2 has landed a lot of nice little improvements to D3D12, Vulkan and in general including depth buffer support and detection improvements although I mostly utilize it for smaller effects.
(Photo mode support even if it can be limited is also seeing a increase in popularity in games without external tools, handy if there's some data protection though NVIDIA also occasionally gets involved and you get Ansel support that way.)

EDIT: Screenshots...well still mostly just backlogged and with the current heat wave going through some videos of console exclusives.

Not a bad game at all, will be interesting to see how some of the upcoming "Wuxia" themed titles will be once they're released. :)

EDIT: And..hello thunderstorm and there's that classic midsummer weather everyone was expecting. Yay.

It just doesn't sell compared to trending popularity and the development costs and all that, there's a rumor the base price is going up another 10$ next generation though of course DLC and MTX are still going to be around regardless.
Don't know how well Undying itself did besides a later fan following and appreciation for the game, genre itself had it's ups and downs and revival attempts even if it pushed it close to the shooter category almost or mixed the two a bit.

Fared better than the classic take on the adventure game genre did at least, thanks Sierra you traumatized the new generation with all those obscure hint-book-mandatory puzzles and overuse of dead-ends even if studios like LucasArts tried to balance it out.

Going to be interesting to see what the rumored remake of RE4 is going to be trying, original made a nice attempt at mixing action and horror.
Kickstarter or similar might be a method too but you never really know what the results will be like, several successes and also a lot of things that didn't work out or failed or ended up pretty different from expectations or the initial idea pitch.

Last Clive game was some attempt at a co-op edgy buddy shooter even if it had some neat ideas as I recall, also had a real obvious cliffhanger ending though sometimes that sort of thing can work.

Wonder if new-EA might be willing to try a redo for Dead Space but I suppose it remains to be seen how some other efforts rumored or confirmed will pan out first.
(New and improved Mass Effect with romanceable Wrex, why settle for mind-melding with Asari when you can ride the Krogan.)
