yeah, so little time and care is now being taken to make sure a story driven game has a good story, characters and dialogue. more crap on the poor optimization pile we have to smell with every new release these days.
altough fc6 at least runs well.

 

FC6 also have ultra texture pack where it wont run fine on a 8gb gpus. You remember that comparison from DF 3080 vs 6800xt where even 10gb gpu have to swap textures as it was vram limited.

 

It has some stutters from asset streaming. It happens rarely, mostly when entering a different area.
The game runs at around 110-120 fps average on my PC, but even maxed out, it looks like an old game.
Texture filtering is bad. Ambient Occlusion is average at best.
It has one of the worsts implementations of TAA. And with no support for FSR2, DLSS or XeSS, there is no alternative.
There is the option of using native with just SMAA. But that has much more shimmering.
Geometry models lack detail. There is a lot of popping in with NPC vehicles.

It looks a lot like FC3, just with dialed up settings. So the whole rendering engine really looks old and dated.

Are you using HD texture pack?

 

Dunia is an ancient engine, texture packs won't save it. RT implementation sucks too

Of course. It does improve graphics a bit.
But it's still a very old game engine, with few improvements.

BTW. My vram usage is around 9 to 9.5G.

It reflects to the gameplay most of the time. 8gb cards cant run those settings.

 

it's not like ubisoft and amd really wanted them to run it in the first place.
