(Frostbite engine continues to impress, each of these war story missions isn't particularly long though but they do provide a nice diversity by taking place across different regions.)

Yes, it's a part of the new DLC. It's a short storyline that's about an hour and a half to 2 hours long. It's after the storyline of ROTTR. I liked it a lot.

Guess I need to see BF1 in motion to appreciate the graphics. From the pics here, it looks exactly like the last 2 games, visually. Still not sure why everything has to look so plasticy. Started last-gen, I hoped new engines would eliminate it but I see it more than ever.

True, Dice and their use of Frostbite does tend to exaggerate the specular highlighting or how it's called so overall the terrain has a somewhat shiny almost reflective look in many areas.
(Like the Endor environment in the previous Battlefront game: http://imgur.com/gallery/B3D4C )

Although other developers when using the engine (Bioware with Inquisition for example.) tend to have a similar design as well so it might just be something with how the engine handles it by default?
(That or shiny is next-gen, heh well other games and game engines do it too come to think of it so perhaps it's a bit of a thing at the moment.)

Oh and in my case the screenshots I'm usually taking of games are almost always straight from gameplay with little but some extra resolution scaling used occasionally and of course turning off the HUD when actually a option.
(And early on when a game has just been released there's usually not that much available in terms of utilities or scripts for doing more impressive work such as being able to utilize a freely adjustable camera position or adjusting the field or view for example or even controlling post process effects unless the game specifically has a photo mode or similar built-in.)

Jim has some really nice screens above and for some more shots of the game Berduu as he's called recently made a photo album showcasing the game.

    (And https://www.flickr.com/photos/berduu/albums/72157667523298443 )

(HattiWatt1 the author of many of the "cinematic tool" utilities for various games should have something in the works for the game too going by what Jim mentioned above, there's a beta for the trial version already it seems so now with the actual full game out for early-access it'll probably be ready for release soon if there's no outstanding issues that need to be taken care of first. - https://twitter.com/Hattiwatt1 / http://cinetools.xyz/ )

Battlefield One: Through mud and blood.
(So far my favorite of the single-player war stories.)

EDIT: From the twin-barreled SMG featured in one level of another war story to the silenced rifle with a pretty sophisticated scope I assumed Dice took some liberties with weapon designs at least for single-player but nope those weapons existed for real.
