Shadow of the Tomb Raider
Found the UI shaders easily enough. (SpecialK)
Straight into the action once more.
But first a flashback.
Found the hair shader too.
Photo mode has it's uses. (Happy face because of course I'd be using that override.)
Though the cutscenes apply further effects as with the previous game.
Loot and pillage all the ancients sites and then destroy them either directly or indirectly.
The start of another explosive adventure. (Poor ancient ruins, you're all blown up now or about to be all blown up. RIP world heritage sites.)
Still no closer to his goal than he was in 2013 well, keep trying to earn her love buddy, you're going to need it.
Surely nothing can go wrong this perfect disguise.
Out in the festivities of the night of the dead. (Dead dead hopefully, living dead well maybe in a DLC. )
Ah the city of Noframerate, nice little hub though but yeah it's earned it's name ha ha.
Now let's see about toggling that mask off.
Nope, shader is controlling a bit much for just the mask itself unfortunately.
(Mostly from the intro section and various commentary of little importance ha ha, eh might contain some smaller spoilers.)
Nice. Something more like a tomb and well, when is it going to explode?
And I can have some fun with the shaders.
The Division DX12 (screenes made with Adrenalin ReLivE)
FH4 Screens made with ReliVe
1702/1175 -5% POW 0.975-1.082v
Forza Horizon 4 is looking nice, running nicely too from what I'm seeing.
EDIT: Shadow of the Tomb Raider
The jungle of sudden cutscene darkening.
Oh yeah just blink when I'm taking the screenshot capture why not.
Uberkitty the unbreakable.
(HOW MANY FUNNY ARROWS TO THE HEAD? ALL OF THEM! Ah that battle was weird.)
Uberkitty about 20x arrows to the head later. The metallic whiskers are a nice touch.
(Giving zero funs and you still have to QTE the thing to actually win.)
EDIT: Then again the crafting system is what it is, 1x feather and 1x shrubbery-stick with the feather jammed into it...yeah not very effective.
EDIT: Hmm let's go with the tag just in case, it's an early scene and depending on difficulty level the fight gets ridiculous but eh might be considered a spoiler for some users and the game is technically mostly unreleased still.
EDIT: Oh wow you can toggle the facial expressions during the cutscenes.
And it works during the.
(Possible spoiler from that.)
Sequences too, ha ha. Oh that's going to be entertaining to see more of.
EDIT: Or using it to alter certain scenes..
SotTR Looking great
FH4 will be great game (like FH3 is)
@-Tj- Doom3 still looks pretty good.
That is f*ckin creepy!
The smiley thing you mean, yeah it just looks so disconnected even compared to the other emotes which comes across as goofy or silly whereas this one is something between empty or forced so in certain cutscenes it can really screw up the intended mood or atmosphere of the game which well I can see that being a problem with ongoing photo challenge because there's already tons of photos using this setup.
There were a few more images of that cutscene originally but eh it made it a bit dragged out and somewhat messed up even for what the game has you doing.
Lara / Whoever wrote the story seems to have kinda lost it somewhere during the plot though it could just be the way it feels very forced or railroaded too trying to make you care about thing A or thing B in quick succession and hammering in characters like Josh and how he and Lara connects but it doesn't come across as very well handled or written or how to say. Well I was going to treat it as a B grade action movie mostly but it's almost like a B grade slasher horror and exploitation movie.
Eh maybe it'll work out later on in the game, not like the previous two were pillars of story telling and the franchise itself is more about action/adventure platforming and puzzle solving with occasional bouts of combat which they follow pretty well so far without devolving into kill-em-all gameplay as you depopulate the entire area consisting of the same 4 - 5 old men armed to the teeth and a couple of wild animals and more.
Well something like that, then again there's also the game expression here which yeah.
(Well it's probably a fetch quest but there's no need to topple the 4th wall just yet with Lara mimicking players disdain for filler quests like kill 3x this or gather 3x that. )
EDIT: Animations are fairly good most of the time though but they do occasionally glitch a bit giving some unintended humor to certain scenes.
^ Wow, Spiderman is amazing, great shots!
Yes I mean the smile thing, especially the one with the young Lara... "Daddy are you alive? Daddy? Don't leave me!" *keeps smiling* lol!
(by the way, the acting and the script itself are terrible, such a big budget production and still they did not care about it, probably they wanted to be loyal to the franchise, which, as we know, has always been mediocre story wise)
PS4 Pro is pushing some impressive visuals there with the newest Spider Man game.
(And I see Peter hit the gym.)
And yeah I think Eidos replaced the lead writer for Shadow of the Tomb Raider but overall script has other issue too besides trying to link up with the past two games and building some continuation of the very long prequel story.
EDIT: Shadow of the Tomb Raider.
And some more standard screenshots.
(Capturing the full detail of this isn't easy.)
Speaking of enthusiasm... this is more or less how i look at a friday morning, with people asking me stupid IT questions
Thanks, yeah I know right
Will post some more screens soon.. atm tinkering with cfg a bit, there are some strange gpu bound scenarios with sikkmod and fps drops with one of game cfg settings.. feels like I had some old GPU again.. xD
The lighting system looks really off in this screen. I wonder why in certain areas it looks gorgeous and in others so bad.
Yeah, the lighting is really hit and miss, unlike in rise of the tomb raider, where it was superb all the way through. Honestly, rise of the tomb raider was better looking with higher asset quality etc aswell - it also used 2gb more vram for the same reason.
Though the point of the screenshot wasn't really the image quality
