re-play some old games for this long holiday
Nioh + Reshade
Rise of The Tomb Raider
Pc. GtaV with VisV and Nvr mods, no texture mods . Graphics are maxed beyond vanilla with edited xml file. 8k dsr to 4k in game settings. Extended distance detail and draw distance.
Kerbal Space Program
Dreamfall Chapters - The Final Cut - ReShade ( + multiple presets made for each image that belong to it book/chapter)
AC Origins + Nvidia Freestyle
Been jumping back and forth from a couple different games lately...
Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus
Metro Last Light Redux
Dreamfall Chapters + Dishonored 2 + Rise of the Tomb Raider
World of Final Fantasy
Brandelis, the obviously evil dude of this story.
Yuna of FF-X, appears to have given up on pop-singing, for now.
And Tama, one of the weird original entities of this miss-mash of franchise characters and well if there was a 4th wall it kinda broke somewhere in the first chapter ha ha.
(I like the different eyes and details to shapes and such even if some of these characters look like they've been doing drugs since forever ha ha, even for these sort of games it's unusual to see those types of eyes.)
Assassin's Creed - Origins
Update 1.2.0 and some new quest (Bad guy did evil thing, kill him! or not, it's a bit of a teaser so any stabbing will have to wait until the actual DLC content happens to drop next week.)
...But some Heka chest content is now available outside of the crown store, oh well better luck next time but here's derpy uni-camel to go with the choco-chick-camel from the promo a few weeks ago. Ha ha.
(Though to be fair aside from the outfits and special - really special. - mounts well the weapons kinda suck compared to the in-game stuff and their quality level and damage output in most cases though the god trial ones are pretty good but further diminish the use of these Heka exclusive items.)
EDIT: Toned down the caps thing a bit, looked silly.
(Not that anyone reads these, especially what with there being a trippy camel in the above image heh.)
Found some interesting street art, took some screenshots.
There's a ton of graffiti in the game, anything from wall art to clutter and text to Ubisoft game promos.
Dying Light also had some really impressive pieces when you weren't busy hacking zombies to pieces and could afford to look around a bit.
Well another game from the backlog, doesn't run very well though but with this hardware I'm not too surprised at that. Plenty of interesting characters and overall a more upbeat comedic adventure with the occasional serious undertones compared to the first game.
EDIT: Game has aged a little bit, aliasing is as usual hurting image quality but not much I can do about that for now.
EDIT: Ugh this is unreadable.
The game has aged a bit since it's initial release and as per usual aliasing is among the worst offenders with "jaggies" around geometry edges and effects such as shader shimmering really impacting overall visual quality and the overall "clean" look of the image.
Unfortunately since framerate is already seriously hampered by the GPU I'm currently using there's not much else I can do about this for the moment and with GPU prices steadily climbing it's mostly just down to waiting and seeing what happens.
It's interesting to see how this has not only affected AMD but even NVidia with their higher-end GPU models also slowly depleting though availability is better than with AMD but prices are still increasing little by little.
I would buy this game...just to know why the hell that funny looking creature is holding a bone.
