I believe the rules are that they must be a max of 1280x1024, those above are I think it was 1440x700 so a bit bigger, same as you though they look fine to me but I don't know how the website scales to smaller screens (or bigger) and other stuff.
(There's a size rule as well plus a recommendation for JPG's over PNG's - or well a requirement really - though I always use thumbnails myself although they're usually not a very popular choice.)

It may be the less demanding game ever (AA x16), but it is the best Eyefinity experience I have for this year

It's like having a mooving "you are the hero comic" on a 1m50' long screen :flip2:

We give a bit of leeway to image width and file sizes, but if they get too big they'll be deleted!

720p using the eight-year old consoles not modern PC. Is 2014 and not 2005. 1440xXY in PC screenshot thread it would be better.

It has nothing to do with that. It's a forum limitation by the sounds of it.

Although, if the board automatically resized any resolution you'd likely get people posting 5mb pics ;)

I use Flickr's size of 1025x576. Would like to know if 1600x900 is accepted since a few people recently have used that res. a PM to the forum mod went un-noticed :/

Sorry not all of us can have super fast internet connection.

And who wants to run a forum at full resolution? Most are at 1080p at best, if you want, make a 720p image with a link to full resolution.

Of course yes, auto resizing would fix half of this.

Oh god what is wrong with her face.

It's the angle of the camera... makes the face look stretched/skewed.

Personally, the hair stands out to me. She's dirty, bruised, covered in mud, blood... grim and filth.
But her hair is just as shiny and bouncy as if it was right out of the saloon. ;)

That's obviously the next step, being able to make the hair look wet, or dry or dirty etc.

It's not perfect or totally lifelike yet, but I still stand by my opinion that it greatly enhances the look of the game. I've just progressed to a stormy, windy area and having her hair fly around (pretty realistically imo) is great.

And yeah, lol the weird angle on the face was because I needed to backup near a wall to get the camera that close ;)
