    Some Trine 1 shots.The game is very beautiful but OMG some battles or platform jumps are very very annoying!

    I don't know my settings ! I thaugt that i played with 4xSGSSAA, but if i look at my Dishonored Screenshots it cant be.
    Once again, that was my first game with SweetFX.
    Anyway i like the Screenshots.
    My new (Non Dishonored) Screenshots are resized from 2520x1440 or 2520x1080.

    I had the same problem recently with UE3 games. The flag I used before isn't working anymore. I think a driver update killed it. I had to change the flag. Used 8xSGSSAA applied to a 1080p resolution to confirm it's working. I'll post the flag I'm using when I get home.

    Anamorphic aspect ratio... platformer.... freakin BRILLIANT. Why haven't I thought of that.

    Also, why haven't I completed Trine 1 \ started Trine 2? Maybe it's those puzzles you say are annoying.... I find I get bored of puzzles after a while and just wanna kill stuff.

    (Just two scenes from Resident Evil 6, that monster was quite annoying and I've got no idea as to why you can ride the panda.)

    I'm only using around 0.62 for sharpening but then I only use smaa as I couldn't get sgssaa to work. Are there any tweaks to improve the textures at all? It's the only thing that let's the game down imo, some really butt ugly textures at times :/

    I bought these games a year ago but i never actually played them.I forgot how amazing/refreshing they are and having nothing else to play now it's a good choice to try anamorphic ratio :D (SweetFx is used lightly here) .I am this close to stop Trine 1 and start the second cause of the clumsy controls when jumping to platforms :(

    Maybe, in the DishonoredEngine.ini file. A few lines can be changed, but how much it helps I'm not sure. I tweaked this file almost right away, as i do with a lot of UE3 games.

    Examples - lines like this, I cranked MaxLODSize to 4096:
    Code:
    TEXTUREGROUP_World=(MinLODSize=1,MaxLODSize=4096,LODBias=1,MinMagFilter=aniso,MipFilter=point)
    And although not directly texture related....

    Code:
    MaxShadowResolution=4096
    You can just use my whole file as a reference if you want. I know I changed a lot...

    Wouldn't LODBias=0 be good too?
    (I haven't checked how it works in this game but higher usually means more skipped mip-maps and thus far lower texture quality.)

    Some titles do use a value of 1 as the highest though and either bug out if this is changed or nothing changes at all.
    (Devil May Cry for example, changing the three HQ related texture bias values from 1 to 0 introduces some artifacts to the textures.)

    EDIT: Speaking of Dishonored today's hotfix also brought the achievements online for the DLC and there is a high chaos and low chaos mode to it just as in the main game. :D
    (Speaking of achievements there's ten for Bioshock Infinite now called DLCA Placeholder but there's no info on what this "A" DLC could be.)

    EDIT: And going back to Bioshock Infinite you can even use negative LOD bias there.
    (Usually -1 but it supports up to -1000 from what I've experimented with when setting max quality mode - while as usual bugging out self-shadowing - it will also set all bias values to just -1000 for some reason.)

    You just reminded me, really need to purchase that season pass, as all dlc will be story related I think (or hope).

    I read about some screenshots taken at 4k resolutions. Can you actually post a 4k resolution shot? Because being downsampled or supersampled you still get a 1920x1080 screenshot.

    Please correct me if I am wrong.

    For those of you with SGSSAA troubles, give this a try (0x000010C1):

    [IMG]

    That's kinda the point. A 4K screenshot would only really look decent on a 4K monitor. The idea of playing a game at that resolution IS downsampling. It's done every frame in-game, but you also have to downsample the screenshot to show the same quality you get in-game.

    I have plenty of original 4K screenshots. Here's one.

    Such a nice looking game :)

    If only there was a way to hide character to take proper shots :(

    Thank you for the answer. I have no experience with downsampling so that s good to know.
