Lol, busy searching a desk and as soon as I close the window I see Elizabeth bending over right in front of me, now if only this shot had Dewitt's hand hovering just like my Singularity screenshot a few years back

    Great Bioshock shots, guys.

jim2point....what aspect ratio is that you are using ?

I am also under the impression that Bioshock really does not need sweet fx to look very good.

Also, ever since trying downsampling, I use it whenever I have the power to do so....looks way better to me and I do not notice it being blurry.

Heck.....I use FXAA and downsampling when ever I can and love it.

The aspect ratio I'm using is ~2.39:1 anamorphic (3840x1620). I like that because it's nice round numbers. You'll likely see 2.35:1 if you go to the movie theater. There actually are 2560x1080 monitors (same ratio), which a guy on the overclock forums is using to play games. I think that would be incredible and I'm a bit jealous, but for now, I'm forcing this custom resolution in nvidia control panel.

As for SweetFX, you're right. The game does look incredible without it. I don't think many people will complain about how it looks out of the box. My settings barely stray at all from the base game :)

Thanks for the quick reply,,,,hopefully later on you can post this games settings on your website.

I really like the looks of the aspect ration....I may give it a try if I can figure out the right resolution....wont be able to go as high as you
