i.... didn't even know the sidebar still existed in any way in 8.1....

mnemo: yea... i think if i had the ability to go back in time a year or so to when i was picking the parts to build my new rig... i'd have probably gone mATX instead of Mini-ITX. While i love this build to death... would have been nice to have more than one expansion slot for just a video card.

I couldn't tell what it was. I could see it had fans but didn't know if was a heater or some exotic liquid cooling solution or what. Never saw fans in a slender tower like that.

Finally got a power supply for my second rig.
Next upgrade will be the gpu.
Just need more vram honestly and a lil bit extra horsepower.
    Just gonna get a gtx 660 2gb.

    [IMG][IMG]
Put a Zalman LQ310 AIO on
    my R9 290 with Kraken G10.
    Temps are so much better.
    Thinking about putting an
H8Oi on the 290 and putting
the LQ310 on my FX 8120
    and oc it more.
I do not like the pci-e connector. I will get a single 6 pin extension to clean that up.
    Now is a FX 8210 @ 4.4ghz
Stock cooler modded with a 90mm PWM fan
    Patriot Viper 8GB DDR31600
    AsRock 970 Extreme4
    EVGA 600B 600w PSU,
    EVGA GTX 650ti 1GB
    80gb Raptor for OS
    250gb for storage,
    500gb for movies,
    250gb for games(Will change to 2tb)
This pc is used for game streaming, movie streaming, storage back up,
and an extra gaming pc for when my buddies come over.

Thanks for the positive message. I plan to get a new dremel soon to finish the Plexiglas panel to add the radiator vent holes. And then remake the bottom psu cover "the red peice because restricting the airflow from the fan to the gpus. Was a bad idea. I plan on making two one for b4 i have my gpu blocks, and one with less airflow for after. The reason for the less airflow for with the blocks is so the side rad can pull the heat quicker from the two gpus.

Ill also be adding a led arround the ssd plexi on that bottom peice so the ssd can be shown off a bit more.

All this will be done soon enough. As for jow enjoying the build with current games is amazing.

The CM690 has always been my favorite looking case ever! Still after all this time, it remains as the most beautiful case in my eyes!

I agree and I still love it - that is why it's going into storage for another retro build some time :)
