Yes it is. I rebuilt my q6600 rig for a friend. Only thing changed was hard drives and cpu cooler. Its only oced to 3.2 on air but with 60c load teamps for a $15 cooler. It still does really good for its age and what he does game wise.

Been playing World of Tanks & Diablo3 all morning.
HWinfo64 has CPU peaking at 32C and GPU at 71C - though I do have a small personal heater sitting on the floor right in front of it. Been snowing here all morning.
Closed both games about 5min ago & temps now saying 10C for the CPU and 28C for the GPU.

all i can say is "Holy big-a**ed self-contained water cooling unit!" That thing just looks massive. Not to mention the design looks a little flawed. no fan guard? What if the water lines happened to move in the path of the fan? You either have a tube slowly being chewed through, or a fan that's not moving.

If you're referring to mine, rest assured. The tubing is fairly stiff and seated on the rad very well. It's designed so both tubes have the slight half-coil to reinforce each other. I'd have to drag it past GPU before they'd bend enough to block the fan.
As for the lack of shrouding, Zalman did that on purpose. The factory fan pushes air into the rad, but also throws some out the sides. Zalman did this to replace some of the air flow over the voltage regulators & northbridge chipsets that gets lost when removing the default air cooler. It does come with screws to mount a pull fan on back as well, but I'm out of fan headers on my board. It works well enough for me now. Down the road I might get a molex to 3/4pin converter, but for now I like the extra air in that area. The northbridge is one the hottest pieces in there right now.
