yeah! I also like to see lots of pics, especially the ones that look professionally taken. However, rules are rules, I guess...

Must say... i think that's the first time i've ever seen thumb screws used to hold the MB in place...

New mobo came in: ASUS P9Z77-I. I might rotate the heatsink 90 degrees because I just realized the heatpipe is touching the top of the inner RAM. Both RAM modules are not removeable unless I take the heatsink off.

No case or GPU yet. Planning to get a Silverstone SG07/SG08. I plan to do a bunch of modding like custom laser cut plexiglass windows, shortened PSU cables, custom paint, and possibly custom LEDs. However, I'm rarely home, so it will be put on hold for months.

Obviously, somebody hasn't used a Lian Li case before.

0.o what's that supposed to mean? My first post you quoted was basically because if i didn't say it, i'm sure that someone else more than likely would have. My second one is simply just what i said... i've yet to see anyone using thumbscrews to hold a motherboard in place. It looks neat.

FULMTL: LOVE IT! Also love how miniscule that mini-ITX board looks under that massive heatsink.

haha. paid more for fans than most people pay for their case. think that's about $180-ish. Are the blades on those actually removable to make cleaning easier? Seems that way from the packaging, but never know.

Not sure matey I'll check later but yeah it's a lot of money. Hopefully they will go from build to build in the future. Getting a H100 for my birthday 4 of these are going on that! Removing the Megahalems on my rig means I can get the side 200mm fan installed as well! Lol

So I butchered my rig yesterday. I took out my old Megahalems and all the case fans. Replaced all the my old Scythe Kaze Jyuni fans with Noctua NF-F12's and put in a Corsair H100 with push pull NF-F12's.

At the same time I thought what the hell so I basically took everything out and hoovered, dusted and cleaned everything.

    Took bloody ages.

So I hooked everything back up, double checked all my connections and made sure everything was seated properly and pushed the on switch.

Straight away I got C1 errors. Checked the memory was properly seated and still errors. Finally resolved by swapping the modules around and praying that I hadn't fried one. Close call, but everything is working fine.

I'm stunned by the performance of the H100 with 4 NF-F12's. My PC is so quiet compared to its older incarnation.

At full speed the only issue is slight 'hum' from the fans on the H100 radiator. However, at 1200rpm its gone and my PC is whisper quiet.

In normal operations I've noticed a slight increase in idle temps of 1 or 2 degrees. Load temps in Prime are sensational at between 52 and 58C. Give or take a degree or 2 depending on ambient.
