Cablemess on the backside. The backpanel can only forcefully be closed  I've tried doing some cable management 4times in this case, with with the PSU used it's just impossible... too thick cables, so it doesn't get any better - and no I won't swap cases, I just love the CM690 too much :nerd:

Mounted a deeper SilenX 120mm fan instead of the 140mm Scythe I had before.

Doesn't get any prettier...:( I gave up doing cablemanagement... I've been over it like 3 or 4 times, but the case with that PSU isn't geared for it.

Installed some green light - green light always improves overall PC performance by at least 5-10% :D

this is the newest adition the case is still a work in progress i have not made a front panel for it wich will only have power, hdd led, and usb. no optical drive, its as tall as a printer paper 11" and 10" back , and 3 1/3" deep. i didnt use any GPU as i was looking at least power consumption but it can fit a full size gpu with a pci-e extender.

@avivoni - What cases are those? The BFG one - is that just like a self contained water cooling rad/pump/res like that Zalman one? And what is on the side of the other case there- is that a digital picture frame?

jadawgis - the big one was a stacker chopped/cut/sliced turned upside down an personalized on the side thats a card reader and a asus screen duo.

the small one was an old VHS chopped/cut/sliced/bent and personalized (unfinished)

@Gripen90, Does your case have air filters? I was considering that case for a buddy of mine, but I'm kind of an air filter freak now that I have them.

Ya I use Akasa dustfilters in my HAF 922 case :) easily removed and cleaned.
In my CM690 I don't have dustfilters since in that case I always have a tad of "over-pressure" which forces dust out of the case, and it works great. After been running for 1year with GTX280 cards I swapped them out with GTX 470 and the dust inside was so minimal.

    Got a new Case.:grin2:
Inspired by other gaming cube cases such as Fragbox. i wanted to give it a whirl.

something different and i always liked how they look.

    Specs:

    Lian Li V351
Total of Four 120mm Fans. One 80mm
    Asus M4 mobo-ATI 890gx chipset
    Phenom 2 965 BE
    Corsair H50 cooler
    Mushkin Blackline 6 gigs
    MSI gtx280 OC edition
    128 gig Realc300 SSD 6gbs sata
64 gig Samsung SLC SSD 3gbs sata
1 TB Western Digital enterprise 3gbs sata
    X fi Fatal1ty extreme
    Tagan BZ 900 watt PSU
    Windows 7 HP x64

Now lets try to cram all this crap into this little cube.
First is the size comparisons to my old case (cosmos-s) and PS3 console. (it was handy)

    Slide out mobo tray

Holy crap, what a mess. stupid cat's fault

Why do i have 2 fans pushing instead of push/pull? ...hey, dont ask stupid questions

that i don't know the answer to.

Yeah, the H50 made this a b****. Luckily this case actually has pretty good airflow

considering its size, i figured an air cooler would throw heat around inside it the same

so i chose to stick with Corsairs recommend of exhausting air into the case to keep

    outside cool air sucking in

Back end. wtf is the turbo switch on the PSU for?

Wire management turned out pretty well. plenty of room above PSU and in optical drive

tray area to hide most wires

    Fin

Now lets take a look at some temps.

    Heavy load no oc
    CPU 45C
    MB 39C

not sure how great temps are for a SFF but overall it runs very quiet and smooth. been using it all week.

Well, here's a shot of my new rig for the people who haven't seen it.

Only a little over clocking just to test, I'm not a huge over clocker to begin with, at least at the moment.

And some NICE fast speeds with my SSD's.

Yea, GPU's run at 50C max under full load.

Fans aren't spinning very fast on it either, could improve them and reduce temps even further.

    Other than that, all solid.

Aren't you running single channel with 3 ram modules on a AMD platform since it it is dual channel?

Yep, CPU cooler is Swiftech Apogee XT, GPU blocks are EK water blocks, 1/2" Tygon Tubing, EK Pump/Resivour, EK360 RAD.

CPU sitting around 26C idling, haven't looked when under load, GPU's sit at 50C when under load.
