The sucky part is, its a pretty dang expensive fan. You'd think paying a good chunk of change for a fan would make it carry all the features you want (including non-vomit like colors).

wow, just looked up the prices for the hell of it... $25 usd a fan. Thats pretty sad for :puke2: colors.

note: I dont mean anything against people with noctua's, thats just my opinion.

I honestly don't mind the color, I think they look good in a black case such as mine. Makes it more unique than the generic black color of most fans.

Nothing really cool here but here is mine =/

A simple 4x Thermaltake 120mm ISGC's with a Scythe KazeMaster fan controller float my boat.

Do you see a big difference in ambient temps after replacing all the case fans? I'm considering replacing all of the 140MM Lian-Li fans in my case. They move a lot of air and aren't loud but I'm sure there are better 140MM fans out there.

Whatever dude that rig is sexy. I bet those 470s chomp anything maxed with all the eye candy. What CPU cooler is that?

Oh yeah, they improved my ambient temps for sure, cpu dropped about 5-6C and the videocard was about a 3-4C drop in temps. I'm happy with it overall, they're nice and quiet and push a good amount of air. I don't really need anything crazy like a Scythe Ultra Kaze (though I do have a few lying around lol).

At this point I'm giving serious consideration to WC, just the CPU for now, kind of mulling over the idea of setting it up with a 240mm rad.

That cooler is Thermaltake's V1AX (CL-P0508).When I got my i7 they didn't even have anything that was copper so I had to get this aluminum HSF. I am surprised how it still gets the job done even at 4 ghz.

    A few more shots.

Oh and about those 470's eating games up, not really. I am getting 25-35 fps in GTA IV with 16x AF so, that's barely playable.

ya same problem here with gta4
was running fine with the 197.75 drivers with nhancer except when i enable 3d vision when it would drop to 30 fps
with the 257.15 drivers game starts at 200 fps and slowly drops to 30 and lots of flashing and shutter almost unplayable

Not the most exciting update ever lol.

New shot shows my two new 5850's in place.

When I upgrade after my exams I'm going to do some proper cable management on this puppy. Need a 8pin extension cable etc. Going to mod the case a bit as well. I would dearly love to go H2O on the CPU but not sure if my budget will stretch to that this time.

If my upgrade involves CPU etc, then my present CPU, mobo and mem will go into a HTPC build I plan to do in my old Akasa Omega case, but we'll see. :D

Since my GTX260 chose to go and kill itself, I took the chance to upgrade my humble rig a little.

Also sleeved some cables and changed the rear fans in the meantime. Doesn't look too bad if I say so myself.

It's just that anything in the 800D makes it look tiny.

ya that 800D is a beast. But on the up side, it makes working with components inside VERY easy.

Ok, I think I may have finally gone insane. I got bored with my old case (An iCute one: http://icute.com.tw/english/0508ULA.html) and decided to get a case that took that idea and ran with it. I didn't realise just how huge this case was until it actually arrived, it is massive.

Need to get some cable management done, and the case may need some modding to aid in this, but aside from that, I am very happy. it certainly looks...OTT lol.

Edit: I really like the fan controller, the ability to completely shut down the fans/leds at night for example is a big bonus.
