I like the overall design... I can't help but think of a stormtrooper when i watch it. :nerd:

Anyway, lots of room, good airflow, great cable management and dirty cheap compared to solution such as the omnipresent Corsair 800D. Btw i think Hilbert did a review on this case. Also you can find it in 3 different color, white, red, black.

As for the 580, well... I plan to get a second when i save some money up.

Don't you just hate after it's nearly built (due to installing the H70) there's one little screw that causes you to strip the blasted thing right to the bare again. They always seem to put a screw right below the very tip of the motherboard to stop you taking the second hard drive cage and PSU divider out.

Finally gotten the cables as tight as possible around the back and tucked out the way.

Just ordered myself a new Asus P8P67 Pro motherboard, i5 2500K, 4GB G.Skill RipJaws DDR3 1600, and a new SATA3 hard drive. Will have before and after pics when the time comes. Might try to do a little more with wire management too, if possible. My case doesn't leave much room for that, and even the holes i cut in the mobo tray didn't help all THAT much.

cole2109, that brings back memories. Xaser III. My god the weight of them though. They weigh a ton if you want to lug it around to work on it. Got to love the smell of steel!

I still have mine sitting empty. I'm tempted to paint it up sometime. Mainly the interior... maybe exterior as well... if I can find something to print Xaser II decals.

YuKsS, thanks. It reminds me of a classy refrigerator. Small and classy easy to tuck out the way while remaining silent.

    Build(2.0) - The Bathroom PC

After great success with the Kitchen PC I think it's time to move on to one
of the more popular rooms in the home, the bathroom. Getting tired of
reading the same ol' XXX mags, I mean MaximumPC, and feeling the need
to flush $$$ down to drain? Why not put a x58 rig next to the throne?
Think about it.....ever have those online gaming matches with little or no
time between maps to take a leak let alone the time to take a lower stress
test? Well, that will no longer be an issue with that new gaming rig right
beside you while you do your duty!

Or, maybe not....anyway, here's what I have planned for the pc build.

CASE - Custom Cooler Master CM Stacker (Old School Gigantor with
2x200mm custom top exhaust fans and fully matte black interior and
casters - originally silver interior, yuk!)

MB - Asus P6X58D Premium (Already been collecting dust in the
    closet since it's release)

CPU - i7 950 (On it's way from NCIX - got it price matched at $289.79) DO
NOT SHOW ME A LOWER PRICE! J/K

    RAM - Patriot 6GB 1600MHz (Stolen from the 12GB Kitchen PC's reserves)

VC - Sapphire Radeon HD 5770 Vapor-X (Shelved since last summer)

HDD - 1TB WD Caviar Black (Also stolen from the Kitchen PC's reserves)

PSU - Corsair TX750w (Just purchased new on sale for $99.99 - it's not
modular but the Stacker has lots of hiding space)

CPU COOLER - Scythe Mugen 2 (Of course - wouldn't be fair for the
kitchen pc to be the only one with the best air-cooler sub $50.00.lol
    (johnny87au rolls eyes even more.)
(The TIM will be Noctua's NT-H1 ....johnny's face lightens up)lol

    MOUSE - MX518 (Duh!)

KEYBOARD - G15 LCD (Have 2 of them, one had the right shift key fail so I
emailed about a replacement but they just sent a new one. Works for me.
Logitech did the same last week when I inquired about a replacement for
my G5 mouse's USB receiver....they just said they will replace it NC, it's
    also on it's way!)

The video card is weak but will do for now until I decide on what to replace
it with - maybe even swap it with the 5970 from this pc.

Anyone running this motherboard? Likes? Dislikes?

Here's most of the goods waiting for the CPU to join the party.

JULinux8 just for $hitts and giggles.

Wait wait wait. So what you're saying here, is that you're putting a x58 computer next to the crapper?
