hey i got cooler master v10 cooler it a hybrid cooler i get a idle temp of 30 degrees and max load temp 43 degrees thats with a room temp of 26 degrees and it a clocked 9400 so in conclusion it a good cooler but it requires a little bit of power i had water cooling and it sucked compared to this hybrid cooler

well that´s the thermaltake frio, it was the last cpu coolers released especially for overclocking, before that cooling he had a custom TT water cooling with two radiators, (120mm and 240mm) and here the results:

    I7 at 4.2ghz vore at 1.4v
    tt custom water cooling:

    iddle temps: over 40C°
load temps: reached 85C° on prime 85 for two hours
    ___________________________________

    tt Frio:

iddle temps: never reach 40C° mostly 37C°
load temps: reached 69C°/72C° on prime 85 for two hours which is great for that cooler, it has two 120 mm fan runing at 2400 rpm each, i can adjust both of them, they are very loud, but at max speed performes great..

so we decided to remove the TT custom water cooling kit (sad it looks badass :( )

ps.. i helped him to ensambly his rig..

Yep, it's a Soldam XR-1 Black Knight, here's an old pic of it -
    [IMG]
I've since covered the top optical drive with a Soldam Bayleaf (optical drive cover) and it looks pretty good ;)
I'd even gotten the Silencer which helps keep my system a little quieter, btw, it's the black thingy covering the back panel...guess I'm wowing you guys with such technical terms, eh?:nerd: This isn't a pic of my rig, just posted this to show you the Silencer.

Oh yeah, I'm from Asia and Soldam WiNDY is available in my neck of the wood, but it's usually imported by buyers directly. Needless to say, it's expensive as hell to get one...I've heard that it can be bought in the US, but only a select few etailers may carry it, and it's hella expensive too.

    Edit -
Thanks a lot! I'm loving every minute I get to use it.......darn it, work gets in the way!:bang:

Ok let me try this again, with a little less fail(yes the SLI bridge is gone...)

Right so to start, this is a pic from about a month ago.
Standard NZXT Trinity case with an acrylic side-panel and a 80mm fan.

Well yesterday i just did my first heavy modification to the case in preperation for the hot summer months.
Out with the acrylic and 80mm vacuum cleaner and in with a nice panel of mesh and four quiet 120mm fans! :D

Yeah i know its not entirely flawless, had to remove two screws after i miscalculated, but hey.
Cools things down very nicely and just in time too as summer seems to have arrived.
27-28c room temp the past couple of days, but after making this mod my CPU temps are status quo, and ive actually managed to even drop the idle temps of my GTX 470 by a whole 9-10c.
Previous GPU idle temp was around 65c, now they are down to around 55-56c.
Hard to make out on the picture but ive also installed two 40mm fans near the GPU's that removes some heat as well.

Overall the noise level of the setup isnt bad at all, and my 470 easily drowns out the other fans when it revs up lol. :p

Let the summer gaming commence!!! :D

Ok i've updated my rig with a second gtx260 (the bottom one with the big XFX on it) - the new card has a bit of history - discussed here....

    http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=321526

Also just installed the hx850 psu , a sweet piece of kit which i hope will serve me as well as my old seasonic s12 600 (soon to be sold on ebay)....

    Anyway here's some pics....

When I go on my trip overseas next year, I have a mission to come back with one of their cases! I've tried to find them in an online retailer in the US but no luck. I personally think WinDY would do great in the US as their cases have as much manufacturing quality as LianLi and Silverstone. On top of that the majority of their cases are anodized which look fricking sweet!
