Hmm.... Acutaly thats true! lol when I get home I will change it... thanks guys.
My current rig/setup.
Upgrading that ol' CRT monitor to a 24" BenQ. Should be enjoyable.
New laptop, came just now, 2ghz core duo, 1gb ram for only £300
Hey Aircool. What are the specs on the lappy??
The full specs are:
2Ghz Core 2 Duo
1GB DDR2 667mhz Ram
80GB Hard drive
Got it for £300, problem was the guy who I bought it from didnt have the blue tooth card in the machine nor any in stock, I was annoyed at first but he gave me the 2ghz c2d rather than the 1.8ghz one for free, because of the lack of bluetooth which was nice.
Long time no see too.
And some more, and my desktop.
I decided to upgrade some components after my motherboard NB died, Here is a pic of my new case
The only problem that I have with the case is that it doesnt have front panel fans since i'm not good with tools this is the only idea that I have to get some air from the front coming in. Any Ideas on how to get more air flowing in please let me know.
would work, and look alot better.
@Aircool, oOoOo a Dell Vostro.. nice..
I could barely tell what it was when you took that first pic of it in the dark.. :knock:
Is your CPU a T7250 or T7300? Just wondering.
Also, you can purchase an internal bluetooth module seperately and install it yourself. Not that hard really.
Yeah I was looking at getting one today, but TBH i cant be arsed. its a T7200 i think.
BTW, its no vostro Lattitude D620.
Arg. Damn business notebooks all look the same. :bang:
Yeah, a T7200 sounds about right. It's a 945M chipset after..
The Vostros are cheap though, I need a laptop just for basic things and school.
can't believe you bought one of the modded ones with the window. the Cosmos is excellent even without the window. i mean come on.... brushed aluminum > acrylic any day of the week.
as for the fan..... why do you need one in the front? i could see maybe to aid in CPU/GPU cooling..... but in case you didn't notice the length of the case..... it's FREAKIN LONG! you'd need one nice strong fan to do more than the bottom fan can already do.
solid, whos the chick in the avatar
My gf. :eyebrows:
I wish.. :bang:
Na, it's JLH (Jennifer Love Hewitt).
Edit: I beat everyone to it.. oh yeah..:3eyes:
Solid beat me to it.
yeah I was looking at that one it would be perfect but I only have 2 free 5.25 slots. I have the original covers so the fan wont be visible.
I brought the case from newegg with the rebate the panel i got it from Frozencpu.com so now i have both choices window or no window, I cant believe I paid so much for just the panel but I think it was worth it because I looks so damn good and i would have never done as good of a job. I think you are right about the bottom fan being good enough but ill still leave the small fan, it can move about 40cfm of air so it cant hurt.
well... small fan or not, air will still be pulled through the front of the case. trust me. i made the mistake of taking out two of the upper metal pieces for the drive bays, not realizing that my IDE cable for the optical drives wouldn't reach. eventually builds up quite a nice amount of dust in the mesh.
would you tell JLH to please wash my boxers, it has skidmarks on it...:bang:
I just did some cable arangement here you go http://img166.imageshack.us/my.php?image=Picture7.jpg http://img166.imageshack.us/my.php?image=Picture12.jpg http://img166.imageshack.us/my.php?image=Picture006.jpg
