So the ASUS Strix is available for preorder in Sweden though at the insane price of almost €1000. The Gigabyte card costs 150€ less :D

hehe is anybody going for the Asus cards at all? What brands are you guys getting (better said, what cooler do you opt for)?

Nice! Thanks for sharing the temp also! If I may ask, what tweaks did you apply in AB or smthg so far, or did the card boost to 2050 out of the box?

Damn.... and there I was telling myself I shouldn't get the Ti + block before I didn't fix my bike (or buy a new one) so I do something for my health... now I'm all -> :infinity:

I think my offset was 160 on core and maybe 100 on memory. I didn't really spend much time doing it, I'll screw around with it more tonight. I think you can get up to like 400 on the memory and 175/180 on the core.

    Power/Temp limits were maxed.

My idle temp is 30c which IIRC is better than my 980 but I'm pretty sure I didn't install my 980 block correctly so lol

I'm going back to MSI so the Gaming X this time please :)
Would want to try the SeaHawk but it's too expensive.

Yeah my idle temps on the 980s definately is higher than 30°C, and I think I did well mounting them :D

Nice to see that there's so much space on the VRAM, although I'd wish for more the other way around, ofc.
So an offset of 160 would mean something like 1890 standard, not too bad.

hehe I'm still waiting to see if anybody buys Asus :D
    Thanks for feedback guys.

I think I'm actually going to wait on the big tech/gaming sites to do a full review roundup where they compare all the partner cards.

I'm doing ok with my temporary gtx 1060 card for now.. already have a friend interested in buying it once I'm done with it. So I can wait a little bit but I'd prefer to grab something next month if I can!

So when will the AIBs actually start to be available?

And when will clock speeds start to surface?

That would be good. I couldn't be happier with my 1440p, 144 hrtz monitor, especially with my new 1080 ti.

Hey guys, havent posted here in ages but I am almost done with my micro atx build and looking for water cooling advice. I just got my two 1080ti founders editions and I am looking at adding them to my custom loop. I see that the titan X(p) EK blocks are compatible with the 1080ti, but was wondering "how" compatible they are? Like are the vrms cooled just as effectively as with the near identical titan x? And secondly, the titan x blocks are not compatible with the nvidia HB sli bridge which quite some time ago I saw gave some decent gains in SLI with the 10 series...I currently use the EVGA pro HB sli bridge - is it basically the same ****? Or is the proper nvidia one proving to have some wizardry going on? I have been in touch with EK and they say they are working on a proper 1080ti block but cannot give me an ETA, and may turn out to be compatible with the nvidia sli bridge so what do you guys reckon? Grab titan x blocks now and use my current sli bridge, or wait for new blocks to see what they improve? Thanks in advance.

I think they are laser cut. No free unlocking I'm afraid ;)

Yeah I can understand you guys, I'm also just waiting a little to see if there would be anything sensible to get besides the FE and putting my own EK block onto it, my loop's already waiting for some improvements (and spring cleaning hehe).

And yes that's horribly expensive Nether!
Strix is 'only' 919€ without shipping here.

Yea, I'm not sure what ASUS are up to :) But the first prices are always the highest and I'm sure it will go down as other brands become available in Sweden.

    You mean the Gaming X?
