If i can't find one below or at 450 € at the end of June i'm going RX 480 x2 for sure.
Keep in mind that you will go on a hunt for crossfire profiles, and the rest of the time you've to either wait or blame the devs for not supporting it.
I'm fine with that, a single RX 480 will run most games at ultra/1080p anyway.
Signex had R9 390, its a hard for him find a upgrade for such a card. RX480's can offer similiar performance of 1080 for the similiar price to 1070, its a dilema indeed.
At what time is the embargo for 1070 lifted today?
Really interesting to see what the MSI 1070 Gaming X can do.
7:49 AM EST and it looks like 1:11 mintues to go.Just checked stock at my go to computer place ,so far not looking good.
3 gtx 1070FE cards listed none in stock at 629 Canadian which is 494 USD dollars.
I would like to buy a NON FE card today ,so hoping things will change in the next couple of hours with stock.
All prices here in Finland are above 519 €. Yeah.... Not worth it. Decent custom ones are even pricier than FEs.
509€ is the cheapest here. From a company called Palit.
1070 SLI = 1078€/1220$
Effin price gouging man...RX480 8gb Xfire & 24'' 60hz 4k monitor is what I'm scoping...until the bs gouging is over at least..ffs.
Look what has been brought out an hour ago
MSI GTX 1070 Gaming X: Benchmarks and Review
In case you missed it, in an-depth review for the card in news section.
Yeah missed that one out ! Thx for the tip
TPU a bit late in 1070 FE review, but 4k performance summary of 15 games:
Just looked at Gigabyte's website and saw the 1070 G1 is just like the 1080 G1. No custom pcb. No extra power connector. Just a Windforce cooler tossed onto a reference card really.
No extreme edition listed for 1070 either. Looks like there won't be a repeat of the 970 G1 glory.
Can't believe it, 1070 sells in Holland for 519,99 for the lowest i've found.
A friend of mine was telling me it was probably cause of high production costs wich is why they're so expensive right now.
And they're competing directly with 980ti which was already pretty expensive.
If 1070 came out with a low price, no one would buy the last stock of 980ti unless they dumped prices.
G1 Gaming 1070; 499 euro
I'm def going to shop for a 980 Ti this month, not paying such a ridiculous amount for a GTX 1070.
