Oke I gave almost everything up and pushes it to 2113 MHz still stable but I don't want to go any higher safety whise

It could go a bit higher but I leave that up to the pro's in here :)

Don't see any issues there, your OC is good enough.

Dude...... you are only 150+ mhz on the Bieetch...

You CANT destory your card with MSI AB.

Push it all the way up !!

My FE can do 265 on the core and 725-800 plus on the memory

You can safely go with +6-700 on memory.

If you can get an even bigger stable core clock, then you are really, really lucky. I can't get my 1070 over 2063MHz 100% stable on core.

I want but cant .... i wasted my money on SSD and new RAM and new Power!!
here 1070 costume like gaming x is more expensive than 1070 FE !!!!! also about 1080 same!!

here 1080 fe and 1070 gaming X's prices are close together!!! ( 250$ difference ) and 1080 strix is 200$ more expensive than 1080 FE !!!

stupid prices like before .... some Dealers do this to us! and nvidia and msi and asus and ... dont care about this! we should buy Computer Hardware with too high fake price with stupid warranty!
so its hard for me to buy 1080 FE atleast ...

1070 gaming X isnt really enough for 1440p ultra settings 60fps gaming ? ( BF1 is really important for me )

Don't get the 1080... it's incredibly bad price/performance card, especially in the current market. The 1070 should be more than enough, especially if your 1440p display has g-sync.

I did not get to play the alpha yet, but I doubt the game wouldn't run anything else but flawless, and I'm at 1440p as well.

my monitor is freesync support! asus mg279q 144hz 1440p freesync! maybe i should use fastsync!
i had 290 TRIX before! in games like rise of tombraider i had 40fps in ultra settings 1440p! so i sold my 290 to upgrade for ultra settings 60fps on 1440p!

is a single 1070 really enough?! u guys have 1070 whats your exprience on 1440p ultra settings gaming ? how much fps in rise of tomb raider and star wars battlefront and division and .....?

and when im not overclocker can i over 1070 gaming X up to 2.100mhz?!

gaming X is cooler and 10 phase and 6+8pin so it should over better than strix right?

OC is lottery, no matter the brand. All will do over 2GHz, 2.1 if you are lucky.

In your case though, it would be better to get an AMD card, since the monitor is not g-sync. Fast sync is pretty crap at the moment.

I'm still on a 60Hz 1440p IPS monitor, so I strive for 60 FPS all the time. And yes, one 1070 is enough for that, granted you might want to lower some settings, like Hairworks in Witcher 3 for example, but even with those one, in never goes under 50 FPS.

All GTX 1070's are pretty much locked in that region. We don't know yet if it's a hardware lock, or just the BIOS temperature/voltage lock that is forcing the GTX 1070's to not overclock past a certain region. The latter is 100% happening, but not sure if result of BIOS or Hardware lock.

2050Mhz to 2150Mhz on the core, that's pretty much the region for most people, most of which cannot even go past 2100Mhz.

For owners of various gtx 1070 cards(no overclock all stock only factory settings),
    1. What actual boost you get out the box on gaming load?
    2. And at what power limit?

Out of the box, 1898MHz at default power limit. ~1950MHz with the voltage/power/temp limit slides all the way up (no oc on core/memory).

I believe they will all be close....it will come down the the individual card regardless of manufacturer. Unless the bios gets unlocked, buying for looks is your best bet.
