Vettel surprised me a little bit... I mean, come on, he beat his own team mate by over a second... Massa beating Alonso didn't really surprise me, Massa loves Bahrain, he owns this track. McLaren look poor. Schumacher I thought did well to get into top 10, he's nowhere near the driver he once was. My money is on Ferrari tomorrow.
yea Vettel managed to drive really good. Hopefully tomorrows race is going to be exciting. From todays practice
I'm not sure that Vettel and Webber were on the same tyre. I think that Red Bull are hedging their bets a little. That or Webber screwed up his Sector 2 again.
Alonso will win tomorrow , he has the best constant driving in race! Alonso behind of Massa, having to Hamilton in his back, where Schumacher has to Button in hir arse, so will be funny tomorrow lol. But nice news having ferrari up again
Massa and Alonso will crash in the first corner. :flip2: Now that Räikkönen and Kovalainen are out of the top fight, I'm pro Germany now. After all I'm 1/4 German.
Scratch that out of the top ten only Sutil was on hard tyres. I think Ferrari have the best overall package at the moment. Red Bull seem to edge them out on one lap pace but the Ferrari is kinder to its tyres over the longer stints. It is so awesome having so many competitive teams with so many good drivers.
boring!! instead of winning and passing in the pits for fuel changes like previous years, reliability, tire and fuel management, the start, and qualifying seems to be the likely way to determine the race winner. no passing, as usual. case in point .... the reliability issue rears it's ugly head again. aside from breakdowns and fuel management, F1 racing has become F1 processional parading.
It's the exhaust that failed, not the engine (only the engine is made in france) But thanks for the usual stereotypical immature argument, I appreciate it.
Get that crash mate!!! LOL Vettel failed with the pressure of Alonso during the 1/2 of the race!!! 2-5 secs were the distance between, and when Alonso was at first place, he got best laps under 1sec!!! 1.58.500... Ferrari dominating !!!
Boring race, no actual overtaking amongst the top 8 or so. The usual paradox of reducing downforce and increasing tyre grip to encourage overtaking tide to the need to maintain your tyre's integrity and make sure you keep the engine in tip top form for the next two or three races. Only thing worthy of note in the whole race was how much of a meal Rosberg made of not overtaking Vettel. He caught him and despite Vettel being down on power couldn't get past him....
^I second you there, I think Avefenix is just a bit of a Ferrari fan Vetel would have easily won it IMO. I don't think there was any exceedingly well drives out today, just consistant by all of the top runners. Shame to see so many of the rookies & new teams out, would have been benificial to them to get a few laps in. Obviously now my fan speech, hopyfully McLaren have got some development plans to try and get the cars up to the Ferrari and Red Bull speed, yes it can crack a few good lap times now and then but it doesn't have any edge. Would also like to see the new teems progress well over the first few races maybe to catch up with the mid-field cars i.e. Williams, Renault etc.
