Now we just need the Win Vista/Win 7 64 bit driver leaked.

well yea i meant that, lowest fps raised from 25 to 45fps. And thats the most important thing for most, idc if i get 120fps but i do if i get lowest 25 or 45..

i doubt that. If i remember correctly it was when you saw that building and stalkers inside shooting each other with the camera spinning around it..

Pretty impressive results, especially with the minumums, averages frame rates are alot less important unless your a benchmarker.

Would also like to see Metro2033 and BFBC2, those two are the some of the games that were lagging behind.

From what I understand, It's going to be for all cards, but you will see most if not all enhancements for GTX 470/480.

have you tried to see the performance difference between 4x and 16x aniso? it is just 0.1FPS in my slow 9600gt I doubt it has an impact on anything

This is unbelievable ! Close to 30 FPS increase in Dirt 2 ? STALKER also has some HUGE increase. Metro 2033 will definitely have close to STALKER effect imo. Just sweet !!! When can we expect this available for download ??? Its like getting a second Fermi in DIRT 2...

lets hope dirt 2 results aren't bugged like early 480 previews, where ati ran dx11 but nvidia drivers defaulted to dx9. :wanker:

Didn't read the benches, just looked at the numbers. The dirt 2 stuff is from 2 different benches.

let's just hope the official drivers won't resort to tricks in order to boost performance or lower quality.

What boost? COP aside, I don't see one.

The dirt 2 bench is obviously thrown out, the rest are just 1-4(ish)% increases.

This can easily be done by running the bench three times and comparing the lowest score to the highest.

The only anamoly to that logic (aside from COP which does appear to have gotten some lovin') is COJ in which the minimum did rise 13 or so points on a percentage basis, but that's all of 2.7 FPS.

Case in point, look at the Crysis bench. 39.21 on the previous drivers and 39.35 on the new. Yeah, I'm cherry picking slightly, but that's to show you that the difference is negligable at best.

Most of this test seems an entire waste of time imo with the calculated margin of difference being roughly the same as a comparison between any driver release.....
