So, I started thinking...mmm my first video card... i remenber,,, It could run Resident evil mmm It looked great... It had 4Mb of memory... It was... a creative Labs 3d blaster PCI rendition Verite v1000....

So here is my Vid card evolution

    1-Creative Labs 3d blaster PCI rendition Verite v1000 (4MB)

2-Creative Labs 3d Blaster Voodoo2 (12MB) along with the Rendition..

    3-Creative Labs 3d Blaster Riva TNT2 (32MB).

    4- MSI GeForce2 MX400 64MB DDR First AGP card (64MB)

    5- MSI GeForce3 Ti200 64MB DDR (64MB)

    6- MSI GeForce FX 5500 (256MB)

    7- MSI Geforce FX5700LE (256MB)

    8- PNY Geforce 6600gt (128MB).....

So this is my list... the one I loved the most.... Geforce3TI200, had it for like 2 years, no complains... The One I Did not like that much.. the fx5500 just had it for a week. sold it and got the 5700le....

Now Im happy whit my 6600gt. so any one care to share your story....

Let see my first vid card was on a 50mhz Intel 486. It had 1MB of memory and I didn't know the manufacturer. Then I got a Dell 1 Ghz (specs on the right). It had an Nvidia Rive TNT2 Model 64 Pro (32 MB) then I bought a Geforce FX 5200 and finally I got a free FX 5900.

Sis 315 shared (got a laptop and got rid of my old rig)
Sapphire radeon atlantis 9600 pro advantage 128 mb (built a new rig)

the one i like the most, the radeon, it performs as good as my old gf4, but with the Dx9 stuff, which i kind of missed in the gf4, and the radeon was quite a good deal, i got it for a better price then a 5700le :p

    -Jaton Trident 8mb PCI
-ATI Radeon PCI 32mb (7000 chipset maybe)
    -Jaton 3Dforce 2 MX400 64mb 4x AGP
-ATI Radeon 8500LE (didn't work, returned it.)
    -Jaton 3Dforce FX5200 128mb 8x AGP

My Dad had an Apple Powermac 7100 (1994) which surprisingly had a vid card on the NuBus slot. Had 2mb. Enough to play the original TIE Fighter.

Hopefully my next card will be a Geforce 6200 AGP or a 6600GT AGP.

I do not think I can remember them all, let's see:

    Maxtox Mystic
    Creative 3D Blaster Banshee
    Viper 128
    Hercules Prophet II mx
    Hercules Prophet 7500
    Ati Radeon 9700 Pro
    BFG 5700LE
    XFX 6800 Ultra

Those are the ones I remember there are at least 4 more. Boy, have cards come a long way. I remember working with a TRS 80 and Apple II plus in middle school that just pluged into TVs. and the computers had a whapping 64kb of memory. A 5 1/4" floppy cost $10.00. What a great time we live in.
