So it's betting on Star Citizen vs TES VI now LOL...

 

yeah, not sure i believe him. time will tell.

 

This won't be out until new consoles. 2020/2021. Same with new Halo:Infinite.

 

I hope the player/NPC models will be better in TES6 (I guess it will be Summerset Isles. Skyrim's MQ seemed heading that way with the Aldmeri Dominion). The models in all of their games are fugly at best and uncanny valley.

Especially in Oblivion, some scare me more than any horror movie/game.

And bring back the naked acolytes of Kynareth, just like in TES2: Daggerfall.

 

name one Elder Scroll games that wasnt a hot mess, either way i might have skyrim and all its expansions finished by time this is done, maybe....

Maybe this will be Elder Scrolls that have animations that dont look like they from 1990's too

 

Howard said himself now it won't be out before 2021.

Pretty much confirms 2022/2023 as Skyrim took them 5 to 6 years as well.

 

By 2020 we could technically "see" the game. Maybe previewed at an E3 conference or other event.
But, yes, the game is still easily several years away. I would say a more realistic year would be closer to 2022 or 23.

Starfield will be the next big push, and it most likely won't release until 2020.

 

I hope they wont use the same 5 or 6 voice actors to cover 30 NPCs.

 

Possibly new terrain, deserts, landscapes?

 

Hmmm... Hammerfell might be an option as well. Or maybe we will see the game in 2 provinces. The resistance against the Thalmor (Aldmeri Dominion) resides in Hammerfell. Begin in that province and bring the fight to Summerset Isles? That would be awesome.

 

Observing the time frame that would be like comparing Pac Man to Max Payne...you'd think they'll figure out something, especially when the next-gen consoles should be potent enough to support 50+ NPC armies and complex character animation for the lot of them.

 

TBH with it being so far off I really wish they hadn't announced it now.

 

No pre-ordering from me but this is a day 1 purchase. Glad it's coming.

 

Nice vid. I was speculating about High-Rock / Hammerfell earlier. Seems I wasn't too far off, however, this guy really Nailed it.

 

my only issue with Skyrim is the combat. i could hear the soundtrack and explore the repetitive
caves for weeks, months. game had magic few posses.

the problem in my eyes was the clunky, too simple combat. i think they should reinvent and focus
on that aspect in the next game. a new Skyrim with a challenging\polished\modern combat.. woah.. gonna have
to make time for it... i must. lol.

 

Lazy excuse, that's why you have Thousands of mods to fine-tune gameplay to your liking.

 

Never seen anything that makes the combat interesting. i think it is a conscious decision to make the gameplay simple and dumb, because this attracts more people into the game.

 

It was simultaneously released on consoles...

 

They shouldnt announce it if its really that far away. They toy with my emotions. Super excited for this really.

 

Yea fallout 4 they did not even say anything until it was what a month from release?

Now they announcing games when they in pre production, and they still working starfield, and have been for a few years now yet we got a trailer for that that showed jack and squat but there is a game named starfield.

Makes me wonder what state starfield is in that they did not even talk about the game. Or give any details on the game how it would play etc.

So next e3 maybe they will talk about sf some, show nothing of ES 6 or get another phoned in trailer that shows nothing.

Silly move on their part they should have stuck to 76, and SF and gone a bit more in depth for that, and they got all their ID stuff to shill.

Now ES fans will be whining for the next 4 years.
