My thought exactly, so staying off this game xD
Not sure if you're unaware that D2 has Echoes, tapes, cell phones et al as well (or maybe you meant you just preferred the ones from D1), just saying.
No shooting of oxygen tanks yet, but I'm only L13, and I am constantly seeing new stuff as I go along.
Erm... there's echos and tapes scattered all around DC. Looks like you're negative about a game you haven't even played for more than an hour. Which is fine, but games like this, where it's all about reaching end game and rattling n00bs in the DZ, they need some time investment.
About mobs, they are so much better in TD2. Some of them will rush you, some of them will cover up. They now go prone and bunker up and make themselves a lot harder to kill too. All yellow mobs also have their weak spots, even some ordinary red mobs have a weak spot. They're so much better.
Aw damn... sounds like D2 was everything I hoped for and then some.
Well, all the sweeter later on then I hope.
hmmm yesterday msi afterburner worked with no problem, but today not working with this game?
Thats all in D2, too...!
Yep right. Only working on Mondays.
Plus 15 hours or whatever it was on the private beta...
And yes of course it does have those weird radio recordings and it has echoes, but it seems to be a significantly lesser amount of backstory to me compared to the first one.
Awesome atmosphere tbh. Great fps, no sound problems so far and no crashes yet. Love it
Are you all playing DX12? Or DX11?
Sound track for this game is on point.
metagamer : DX12 as DX11 GPU usage is noticeably higher.
DX12, no issues.
DX12 runs significantly faster?
I haven't benched it with the in game tool (because that would mean I would have to stop playing ) but that was the general consensus during the beta.
Yep, it runs faster but some people are experiencing CTDs and stuff on it. The issues seem very minimal though - I think this is one of the best DX12 implementations we've seen yet.
Thats a great news guys. Im glad DX12 finally show some improvements. I still think Shadow of the Tomb Raider has the best DX12 implementation as today.
Finished downloading the game last night. Getting on tonight!
DX12 here and it's significantly faster for my setup, 1080p Ultra settings (or highest available), rock solid at 60fps, DX11 wasn't very stable with dips to high 30s.
Yes it was "considerably" faster with DX12 on my setup as well. Mostly because my i7-2600K@4.8Ghz is beginning to show its age and also because the game is hitting very high drawcalls on higher detail settings.
