Weird that it is a minefield there's total of 5 ads which all are just either banners or animated ads. 1 on top, 1 on bottom and 3 on the right side of the site. And there was that huge asus ad as background but that is gone now.

How much do you need in donations a year to keep everything up and running? Already donated and whitelisted the site on my main PCs (laptop + desktop). Pretty sure if you put the donate-link in the OP and on the main page you would get even more money!

You have a right to your opinion as do I.
As it has been mentioned, I visit Guru3D.com, not google tracking, analytics and slew of other lurking domains which are not owned or controlled by G3D. Even if G3D did not wan't to allow them they would still insert them selves because - internet. So it's backwards of me to to block unwanted sites? OK.
You just keep going with the company flow, that brought you limited monthly bandwidth, fair usage policy and all those "progressive" things that you, as a user benefit from. I'd rather stay "backwards" with none of that and protesting every time they try to impose that on my "backwards" a$$ :)

    Have a nice day.

I see nothing on the right side. I get a banner and 2 or 3 other ads inserted seemingly at random in between posts. Nothing is animated.

I use the Dolphin browser on Android and it does have an addon to block ads that works very well. Since ads in Android cause me major headaches like trying to read a page and having it jump or scroll every time a new ad is finally loaded and displayed, I will not turn the blocking function off on any site for my tablet (Nexus 7 2013).

Yeah this is a big letdown for me personally too, the Guru3D app is also not really an app at all, it just links to the webpage.

No ad-blockers? Huh? Even iOS supports ad-blockers these days.

If Hilbert wants to track me, that's fine. However, it's not Hilbert or G3D tracking us. It's 3rd party ad servers who are tracking us and selling the data they collect. At no point have I ever given these 3rd party companies consent to track me or collect data on me.

Google is an advertising company. They profit from collecting and selling user data. They'd be slitting their own throats by allowing users to block them from collecting and selling every bit of data they possibly can.

I know this, but there are apks available for Android that allow you to block ads. Personally using a modified hosts file for ad-blocking on android (I buy the apps that I use or donate!).

That's awesome news. The forum looks so much better with IntelliTXT turned off. Since you were willing to compromise with us, i'm willing to meet you halfway and whitelist your site. Thanks a bunch.

I just whitelisted in ghostery, and adblock, and allowed google in Privacy Badger, and now I have "Windows Driver Download" Banner ads.

Going to do a full scan of my machine to check it.
    Then try again.
