I received my invite for the Insider Phase 4, already installing the game and hoping to see what this new iteration of the game as to offer. It will be active until June 9. As a great fan of open world racing games, I hope this one can be another good addition to this genre.
Played some Alpha. Game is runing & looking Good (Not as good as FH5). Cars behave OK, very drivable (no Assists used / tho ABS is On). No RT/DLSS but FSR 2.0 is present in Alpha. PS5 Dual Sense working good (Haptic and all). Game is like - The Crew + FH + Test Drive
Yup, but those words on all screen is a no go for Alpha IMhO. Can't see much. Shame cuz' game is somewhat good.
The words being on the screen is really strange, but, being covered by NDA is think is a possibility of someone takes a print screen, somehow with that information they can detect what account did it. About the game, being the first day I only did roaming to know the map, about 3 hours, first thing I noticed was the improved physics of the cars, much more challenging to control now with ABS/TCS off, and for me is an improvement. Ivory Tower was criticized on The Crew 2 that the cars had to much grip/heavy and looks that they had been working on that. Being possible to import that cars from the previous game is nice is good to compare. Today I will try some races to see how competitive is the AI, I hope Scott is not back (The famous super hard AI with the Gallardo.) Yes, still not Horizon 5, but that one is the benchmark of open world racing.
I do like me a Crew game but this doesn't look any better than the Crew 2. Roads look very low detail and makes it look cheap.

I got invites for the PS5, Xbox Series X and PC versions although I have only redeemed the one for the latter as I am not interested at all in playing this on consoles.
